The engine bay of the car made a strange noise as I was racing at Buttonwillow. There has been no engagement of my VTEC. Interestingly, the solenoid in the VTEC was dead as a result of some diagnostics. As someone who drives a Honda S2000, I am able to answer the question regarding whether or not this is the case. The answer is yes. In time for my next race, a week after it was delivered, I tried the part out and it worked beautifully! There's nothing better than getting all the goodies when you buy this part. Gaskets and seals of the right type and size. All you need to do is plug it in and go.

This is a VTEC solenoid from the OEM for the As a first note, shipping was outrageously fast

I mean, I'm talking about lightning fast. It took 3 days for this to arrive from Japan. As illustrated in the photos, the package arrived in good condition. In the second photograph, you can see the part number for the install hardware that I also decided to replace. Thanks a lot.
