Assisted Honda in removing its warning about checking the gas cap

My 2009 Honda Pilot came with a general "Check Gas Cap" warning, which would not go away. I installed this to fix it. A new gas cap had also been tried, but it did not solve the problem. Installing the purge control valve was very easy and it eliminated the "check gas cap" warning light immediately. Since it was installed a few months ago, there haven't been any problems.

My first fix for the engine check light and the code I got was to replace the gas cap, since this was the fastest and least expensive fix. We had replaced the gas cap and we could not get it to work, so we bought this part and it did work. I received the part in a timely manner, and it was brand.
