It is impossible to say for sure whether or not this will fix your issue. We realized we had the hoses backwards, so it worked fine for my application after we realized we had the hoses backwards. Our mistake was that the steering wheel would vibrate and rotate on its own when they were installed properly. Thanks to the wheel not wrapping around my thumb, I did not lose my grip!
There is a circular shaft in it for gears used by the Saginaw steering system from GM. The Ford steering gear used to be on some GM products but I am not sure what years they were used until. The GM gear will work on it if it is one of those.
Since there is such a wide variety of steering gears, you'll have to contact the manufacturer for application.
If your problem is too much pressure coming from the pump, it might work. There is a type II gym pump for this. The front end of my 52 Chevy pu with a classic 1976 Mustang II did not work after many attempts. As far as I can tell, bump steer was the culprit. Hope you have a great time!

Upon contacting the company, they were unable to help, all they could say was that it should work and that they did not know why it didn't. kit and used a total of 9 shims, but my car was still extremely twitchy to steer in turns and came to a halt if I tried to turn hard Then turn around. It seems that by removing all the shims and taking the big fitting (hex) out of the pump once more, I measured the inner orifice, which was roughly nine-and-a-half inches in diameter A wire welder helped close the gap, and I cleaned it up afterwards. I then drilled the orifice to be 3/32 smaller and reinstalled it. I then drove my car to make sure it worked. As a result, the issue seems to be resolved. While harder to steer and easier to turn, it is still easy to control. After a few miles, I am not yet convinced it is a permanent solution but I will keep an eye on it. A recent update showed that there wasn't anything unusual about the way steering used to work in vehicles prior to the 1970s. In order to correct for radial tires, different geometry must be used involving Due to the excessive steering feel, I have had to do extensive research, and I was forced to conclude that upper control arms need to be designed to have more caster to correct this. Eventually, I would like Global West to send me some upper control arms that have caster that is 5 degrees more than stock (my car has less than 1 degree). I have not yet received them. Despite installing all the shims on my dodge dart, I didn't get the results I was hoping for.
It was not possible to adjust the power steering pressure as I wished with this product. It was eventually necessary to cut off a coil of the spring and experiment with different washer numbers. We ended up with two washers that weren't enough assisted and one that had too much assistance. In the absence of cutting the spring, all the washers seemed to have no effect. I might try a bypass valve or just modify to a rack and start over.
The rack speed was slowed down after my rack and pinion swap on my LS.
From the rack, all the quicks were taken out.
To increase the pressure of my pump, I actually used this method. Currently, I am running a VW Saginaw pump to drive a Toyota FJ60 steering gear on my Samuel, but I would like to increase the power assist when Quite simple, I just used the tool to take off all the shims.
