To test them, use a volt/ohm meter and look for a resistance of around 80 ohms. br>You should also look at the connections; mine are all soldered and don't cause any issues. br>I discovered that the resistor connectors aren't up to par.
To get the hyper flashing to stop, you must complete all four lights.
In a Volvo, I replaced tungsten bulbs H11 with LEDs and used 50 ohm resistors in parallel with the bulb to simulate a higher current draw, which prevented the warning indicator from turning on. Although HID isn't the same as LEDs, it could work. and you can find out for a reasonable price.
Yes, a car's turn signal (blinker) will work with this.

In my 2011 Yukon XL, I used a pair of these to stop the hyperflashing from my newly installed LED tail/turn signal bulbs. The resistors in this vehicle cross the black and yellow wires, just to let you know. The tail light is connected to the brown wire. These are a lot heavier than I expected, which I think is a good thing. To keep them from touching the plastic, I suspended them from the turn signal bulb fixture with zip ties. I don't see how you could attach them to metal in this vehicle, as most manufacturers recommend, because the wires would be too short the next time you needed to access the taillight fixture. Because it was only a few dollars more to buy four at once, I kept the extra pair for future use.
The units are simple to install, but due to the high resistance, my headlights were blown out and my relay started smoking. I used to have led bulbs all over the place, but now I don't. My lights are still not working after I replaced fuses, the relay, and one bulb. I'm very disappointed if you don't buy it.
Light that turns 150 degrees and brakes 150 degrees. These are simple to set up and work well. They appear to be well-made and are small enough to be easily hidden. I thought the wires could be a little longer, so I lengthened them by 4 inches each. I just installed it, so I don't know how long it will last, but I'll update in 6 months.
If you don't use resistors with your GMC LED turn signals, they'll send a check code and blink very quickly, and these fit the bill. Because I am afraid of moisture, I did not use the clips. So, if possible, strip back the wiring a little and solder them with a drop or two of solder, then cover them. Because I've only had them for a week, I only gave them four stars for durability.
When I changed the stop/turn signals on my 2008 Ford Explorer to LEDs, I kept getting a CHECK BULB warning on the dash. THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED AFTER I INSTALLED THESE AS DIRECTED. A SLOWER FLASH ON THE TURN SIGNAL AND NO MORE ERROR.
Hyperflash can be avoided by installing these in the rear brake light wiring. I've had them for about three months and they've been great.
My led fog lights no longer have that annoying rapid pulse. 2017 JKU.
