The brackets I bought fit perfectly with the shocks I bought.
Hi, I've noticed that many customers have said they are super easy to put on the wall. Alternatively, the Flat type might be mounted on the side frame while the L type can be mounted on the lid.

It looks like these brackets are very nice, but the ball is incorrectly measured. As a result of these brackets, a $130 was effectively ruined. A set of gas springs for Camloc Stop and Stay that costs $00 each. With powder coating, I think that the ball stud is sufficiently dimensioned and makes it nearly impossible to remove the gas spring from the bracket without damaging the ball stud. For powder coated models, either the size of the ball stud needs to be reduced to account for the thickness of the powder coating, or the ball stud dimensions need to be disclosed. Now that I'm getting rid of this junk, as well as my bad springs, I've got to discard them.
This is merely a suggestion, not a criticism. You might find that the supplied screws aren't strong enough for your situation, as they were for mine. Consider using heavy bolts or nuts.
I'm very satisfied with how they work. I would buy it again if I needed a new shock.
It took me a while to find the brackets to match the struts. There are black brackets where there should be black ones. In addition to ball studs, the struts also came with zinc-plated ball studs, which I did not know.
The experiment was a failure.
Just the way I wanted it. It works well with these. As you can see, the screws I used were larger than the ones provided in Because the screws can support so much weight, I believe they may come a little short. These wood screws feel very secure after I screwed them in with 1" wood screws. It looks like they should just pop right in. I haven't actually installed the gas supports yet, but I think they will work.
