Everything in the picture was included in the package. The zerk fitting was primarily intended to be greased on a regular basis. It's moog, who have been around for a long time and whom you can trust. br>Installation is simple: thread the zerk on slowly and make sure it's straight before tightening it down, as you'll be making the threads with the zerk for the majority of these.
I'll update if they don't. I bought them in pairs and replaced the rack and pinion at the same time, but they've only been on for a few days, so I temporarily aligned them by measuring the distance between the boot and the lock nut (I used a sharpie AND a white marker against the old locknut to make a permanent mark (mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - mine - On the driver's side, 8/3/8" and on the passenger side, 8-3//8". On the passenger side, it's 1/4"). The castle nut, cotter pin, and zerk-like device were among them. (to grease the top of the fitting).
My car skids around corners and wants to veer off to the left after I replaced the driver side front for a week and it was fine; now that the second one is installed, it is skidding around corners and wants to veer off to the left. I'll get an alignment, but I don't know when I'll be able to do it. These tie rods should cause a significant change in the handling of a vehicle.
If this is your first time doing inner and outer tie rods and you're wondering why your car doesn't track or steer true, this is the place to start. After you've replaced something, you'll always need to align it; It's not the product; home alignments are also temporary fixes.
It was well worth the money, and it was a perfect fit for my car.
Very good quality. My car was stopped from drifting down the highway, and it was also extremely quiet.
Most similarly priced versions are sealed and not greasable, so I appreciate that Moog builds these with a grease fitting for maintenance.
Made in the United States of America. Quality is typical of a moog.
