This attaches to the pitman arm on our 2000 JEEP TJ and is a good substitute for the original. Fittment information can be found on the MOOG website.
Thank you for contacting me with your query. The ES3096L is not available in a right-hand threaded version from Moog.

Flexibility and beefiness are two words that come to mind when thinking of this dish. There have been no complaints about this tie. rod swap. All components were included in this high-quality product, including the castle nut and grease-resistant bearings. cotter pins and zerks All things considered, I was able to get in without difficulty.
Perhaps they'll last a long time, but first impressions aren't promising, as one item had tears in the boot and the other was for a Toyota rather than a Cherokee. If they last longer than a year, I'll update my review, but so far, I'm not expecting much. When two of my Cherokee's brakes failed, I saw rave reviews online and decided to replace all of them. I've used 1aAuto tie rods on other cars before and they've always lasted, so I figured I'd give them a shot with these. I don't have a photo of the torn one because I returned it right away, but here's a shot of what I got before returning the Toyota one.
If you ask yourself, "would a car manufacturer put this part on a new car?" the answer is obviously no, which is why, despite being perfect in every other way, I can't give this 5 stars. I knew the odds were 50/50 when I ordered it because the item listing showed pictures of the part with and without paint, but Moog is supposedly a good brand, and I guess I'd rather paint a reliable part than install a painted turd that breaks on the trail.
This fit my 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ perfectly, and I had gotten another cheaper one for one of the other tie rods I needed, and it just had a plastic or rub er cone covering the ball joint instead of this Moog brand, which has a sealed expanding rubber grease cup that fills with grease and won't leak or let water or dirt in.
Jeep parts that have worn out can be replaced with this product. It really helped to tighten up the steering and get rid of the shimmy from big bumps. New ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link, and the sleeve between the pitman arm and the drag link were all installed at the same time. If your Jeep feels loose or shimmies when you're driving fast, this is a must-have.
As other reviewers have stated, this is bare metal. On a 1999 Jeep Wrangler, I matched the stock part. The Zerk fittings are a little flimsy, but they sat well and worked well, and the rubber boot is thick, with all the necessary hardware included. We'll see how long it lasts now that it's been installed without problems.
I was about to start installing it when I realized that the grease zerk needed to be installed first. This is not going to happen! At the top of the rod end, there are only a few threads. I had to use a 1/4-inch needle to thread it. 28 taps at the bottom Now I have to be concerned about any metal chips that may have found their way inside.
I was able to install it without difficulty, but I had some difficulty threading the zerk fitting into the rear cover. I'm not sure if threads were even present to begin with, but it finally screwed in with enough force and a few choice words, but the most difficult part of the job should not have been installing the zerk fitting. br>br>The part had no finish at all, just bare metal, as shown in the photo. I spray- To avoid rusting, it was painted after installation.
