There is no other way to explain it. Those will work with factory torque struts from 99 1/2 model year up. You can retrofit backwards if there is enough clearance (I am unsure of the exact VIN break up) from 99 1/2 to pre 99 1/2. It's pretty easy to swap out the bushings and reinstall the axles by getting them from the junkyard. You can easily tell the difference if you compare a torque strut of the old and new styles. In the event of issues, it would be possible that the torque struts have been replaced with aftermarket units. It is generally advised to install OEM pieces on the top engine mount and trans mount, and these bushings on 99 1/2 and up torque struts, given the high level of performance we enjoy. I can vouch for that.

We received the product within a short period of time. Changing the bushings proved to be a difficulty, but the final result was satisfactory. They were accurate in terms of installation instructions. Please note that these inserts are made for 99 to 02 mounts, as the earlier OEM mounts were constructed differently. Assembling may be easier if you use washcloths, dish soap, or even oil. As I removed the top mount to assist in the job, I have no vibration issues as other owners have reported. This week's update A month of use seems to have done no harm to the mounts. There is a slight increase in vibration caused by the stiffer/harder mount, which I expected. A situation in which I can sense the vibration most clearly is when the AC is A standard trans monkey I used as a test monkey might transmit more vibration than an auto trans monkey. It may also be worth checking the Upper motor mount and the TAM mount for wear.
We are hoping to install this in another car before deciding whether to keep this or not.

There are a few simple instructions online, so that pretty much sums it up. As long as it is properly done, vibrations inside the cabin will not increase. I definitely would buy from this store.
At least 3 weeks ago, it was installed. So far, they seem to be great. While the vibration is higher than what is standard, it does not bother me. Some people talking about extreme vibration may have only done the torque axis mounted at the same time as their motor mount. I also installed the top motor mount and top trans mount at the same time.
The SL2 fits perfectly in a 2002 Saturn. When inserting the large inserts, just be careful, it may take a few attempts before it goes in easily. The vise I used is 6 inches long.
I replaced mine in about 10 minutes, and to think what a difference it made.
