This kingpin kit fit perfectly on my Ford 4500 tractor and was made in the United States. br>It was also half the price of what it costs rebranded as a Ford industrial tractor kit. br>Instead of designing and manufacturing products with a single application, Ford excelled at repurposing parts from other Ford models and divisions. As a result, they used the same technology that they had used on their earlier Ford pickup trucks on their farm tractors. Ford, on the other hand, had a more brilliant idea. Regrettably, they sold their tractor division to New Holland, who promptly shut it down, effectively eliminating their main competitor.

This was purchased for my 1964 Ford 4140 Industrial tractor, and I was able to locate it in the Moog catalog by pin size and length. (You can get it here. ) It has every spec of data you'd need. ) Anyway, this kit fit perfectly and has been in place for the past nine months. It claims to be simple to install in the description. It was difficult to remove the old ones, but they were relatively simple to replace. Remember that after you install the bushings, you'll need to ream them to size by hand. For this, I used a Harbor Freight adjustable reamer kit, which worked perfectly.

On a 1971 Ford 4500 industrial tractor, I installed this King Pin set. The most difficult part was removing the original King Pin from the axle, but it worked perfectly. Remember that the Bushings will need to be reemed after installation in order for the King Pin to fit. Mine was reemed at a machine shop that specializes in automobiles.
