I see that both nuts on the idler appear to be made of steel from the picture on the idler. I did not receive all the extras you saw pictured with my idler bracket. It only came with a steel nut for the male extension on the idler. A nut may be used on the male extension and another nut may be used on the grease hose extension that attaches to a A nylon nut for 22mm is also constructed as a steel and nylon combination for locking purposes.
A gearbox and an idler arm can be found on the left. The steering gear box and a Pitman arm are located on the right side. Having replaced all these, I am able to drive my truck as it was new. The average mileage per year is 300k

The Moog company manufactures parts to fill in the gaps where the OEM fell short. Since the early 1970s, Moog has been my most trusted supplier If you need help with steering or suspension, this is the place to be. Featuring a unique design, this idler arm bracket is a very versatile accessory. In OEM and other aftermarket brackets, the grease fitting is located in the middle. In spite of the fact that it allows for lubrication, any contaminants in the top end are retained. MOOG's bracket has the grease fitting located at the top, allowing fresh grease to circulate through the entire bracket and remove any anti-contaminant dirt or ant matter. In order to facilitate access to the zerk fitting, an extension hose is included and bolted to the frame just above the sway bar attachment point. Service is made easy in this way. MOOG chalks up another victory! Please note In order to protect the hose from abrasion, I added the plastic wire loom around it.
It is always a wise choice to purchase from them. In addition to replacing this bracket, I also changed the idler arm. The steering was loose, so I tightened it.
The author seems to have done a good job Moog is known for their quality parts, and this is one of their best. I had my mechanic install it for me so I cannot offer any details on ease (or lack thereof) of installation, but I rate this 5 stars because I think the remote grease fitting is so darn smart!.
With the parts being perfectly aligned and the vehicle operating properly, all steering and suspension issues have been resolved, so it's time to roll.
I bought this along with a few other components to rebuild the front end on my Tahoe and had no problems with it. Replacement appears to be a quality option and is a good fit for my needs. My experience with Moog parts goes back years and I have never had a.
