Questions & Answers

Does the warranty on this part last a lifetime like the warranty on regular Moog ?

To the best of my knowledge, all moog products are lifetime.

What part can I use for my 2003 Chevy 1500 four-wheel drive?

In my 06 1500 4x4 there were three spindle, and I am not sure if you have 3 or 4. I removed mine first and ordered them later.

What is the fit for a 2002 2500HD? It was listed on moog as 6535HD, so I want to ensure it is the right part number. ?

I had a 2002 HDcrew 6 and this fit perfectly. You can get it torn apart and do the whole front end while you are at it.

This part was ordered in July of 2018 and it is now defective. How do I go about the warranty for the ?

It may have a life time warranty, so you should go to the Moog website to find out.

That's a great deal and probably a better deal A friend gave me this sticker for my 2002 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax four-wheel drive A wheel-type vehicle A drive of 265 miles
5/5

A good and rich all terrain TA/KO for BF. As people write reviews, I wish people would include the make, model, and year of their vehicles. Designed to fit a direct fit idler, this idler arm is the perfect solution. It took me about two hours to install, it was a little tricky to find. We had to pull it with a puller. To remove it, it's a bit better to use the old one. This arm was much easier to use than Pitman's! The truck had absolutely no play in it after I replaced both this and the Pitman arm. I only have my new ones for a month, but I can now see how long I had my old ones. It may be as long as two or three years. When you replace them, it's as if night and day have changed. Suitable for an 18 to 19 year old The year is I can almost say it drives like a brand new truck, when it comes to old trucks.

My engine is always built by ACDelco, with the exception of the steering components

If your local shop tries to charge jobber rates, you will feel fleeced - moog is the best price and your local shop cannot compete with these prices - We cater to both wholesale and Get in touch with several shops, you will likely find one that is glad to accept part supplies. You shouldn't pay extra just to replace the idler arm bracket, it's easier and takes less time to replace them both than to separate and rebuild each one separately. Attach the idler bracket to the idler. It was easier to have both do the job instead of just one, and I was going to do it myself, but after watching the guy with 20 years experience struggle to remove the factory parts, on a rack with the correct tools, I realized my truck would have ended up on a flatbed.

Is this a knock-off piece or the real deal? The part fit perfectly, in a MOOG box, but when I check the MOOG website to verify that it didn't look fake, it seems to be counterfeit
3/5

Part failures on front end parts are extremely dangerous I would prefer to use MOOG parts for their quality, but I worry that they might just be knockoffs stuffed in boxes made to look like MOOG parts. Assuming it's not true, I'm giving it two stars until I can confirm it.

In my experience, Moog is a great product, but my preferred choice whenever factory components are not equal.

This is good, but it could be even For my 2005 Silverado 2500HD, I purchased this idler arm
3/5

This arm is made in the USA, but it has no rubber boot to seal the tapered shaft between the arm and the center link, like their pitman arms. A foam rubber gasket is used instead, which only lasts about a year or so before it starts to dryrot. Despite the fact that this is a completely different part from the OEM part, the form, fit and function seem to be fine. They should have put a rubber boot on it, just to go the extra mile!.
