There are a lot more looseness and play in this version than in the original

The defective part I received came in and after it was installed it was defective. I got a replacement sent to me and the replacement is also defective. The part is loose and has more play than the original.

I took it to the shop to get a replacement. After putting it in for the month, I took it to the shops for an overhaul and was told it was badly damaged and I should get a new one.
