The rest of the part is good. I bought this part again because the last one I purchased broke by flattening the threads, and the nut fell off, leaving the right side of my center link without support. The provided nut for the idler link is not the right thread pitch for the second one when it arrives. The first part failed mainly because I didn't realize it had the wrong nut, and, in effect, I was unable to thread it fully into the nut, which allowed the center link to repeatedly hit the nut until the threads broke. Several people have mentioned this issue to me, and that's how I found out about it.
It is possible to get a complete kit for less than 100 bucks, but that kit will not deliver A pair I bought two years ago began to wear within four months of purchase. My old truck was sold, and I bought a new one this time and I am replacing the parts with these high quality parts so that I can now have an even ride. Make sure to add grease to the fittings to ensure that they will This product is very good, I recommend it.
I ordered a stack of AC Delco Pros. I need new steering system parts. It appears they're all in good working order, appear durable, are installed properly, and have rubber caps around their ball joints. I only had one complaint, and that was about the factory grease The reverse was also true. Half of the parts had no Jone, the other half had it. The grease points are there for you to use so push out the junk and use some decent grease instead.
These parts from ACDelco are of the highest quality, fitting perfectly and the rubber boot is of excellent Furthermore, the factory applied black enamel coating is a terrific addition and makes this part a cut above all jobber and other parts with similar markings. In addition, the extended grease fitting comes in very handy so that you can actually lubricate the thing!.
AC Delco/GM is the original supplier of the part. Several thousand miles have been covered with the part and it has worked fine. There was no better price for this part than Amazon's. * br>* br>But the packaging was lacking, so I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5. It is important that Amazon think about how the ship heavy, unusually shaped parts will be handled.
A quality product from AC Delco at a good price.
I received the item within a couple of days as advertised.
