Yes, but make sure the length and diameter of all four shocks match the lift kit shocks.
Your ride height should remain unchanged as a result of this. All you need to do now is purchase two additional shocks.
They fit. On a 2002 f-150, I have them. 350 Excellent work
Selected User Reviews For Fabtech FTS420-50BK Black Dual Shock Hoop for Ford Super Duty 4WD
This Fabtech dual shock mount system is fantastic. Because the hoops are one-sided, it isn't a "true" hoop setup. piece. This one has a center mount and two bracer arms, but it primarily serves as a hoop-style hoop. type of setup Also, the item with the coil spring shown in the splash screen for this product is NOT the item you will receive. It's the one with the "A-" symbol in the item description. The brace appears to be in the shape of a frame. Also, it's black, not Fabtech blue, according to the description.
Ok so I always read reviews before I buy anything I 100% am not familiar with and if you are reading this, you either know what you are do or you are unsure of what you want and are seeking advice. I used to be the former, and I'll tell you right now - it's not fun. This is a large kit. duty. I'd buy it right now if I didn't have any reservations. It took me an afternoon to complete the installation, but I prefer to take my time and teach my children as I go. It should only take a few hours for someone like you who knows what they're doing to get this up and running. There will be some drilling, so read the instructions first; I'll go over that later. br>br>Your brake line support bracket will need to be relocated. A 1/4" bolt from the inside of the frame holds it in place. It will easily come out with a socket and extension. To relocate, the instructions say to measure 1" forward and 3" down, but be careful because there is a cross-section. You don't want to drill too close to that piece member to get the bolt back in. My bracket also had a tab that pressed against the frame, so I had to drill a 1/4" and 1/2" hole to properly relocate it. It was simple as pie; all you had to do was feel for the cross-hairs. Before you sink the bit, take a look at this piece. Each side's back support perfectly aligned with an existing triangle-shaped support. I had a shaped hole in my frame, so I simply rounded it out with my 1/2" bit and mounted it. I also needed to drill a hole on each side for the front A frame support. After you've loosely mounted everything according to the instructions, swing the support brackets down to the frame and mark the exact spot to drill, then swing them up out of the way to drill. br>br>I needed to make some extra access through the wheel well where the shocks' tops stick through. The driver's side was a pain in the rear because there were several electrical lines and hoses in the way, many of which were attached to the wheel well I was attempting to cut through. Make sure you don't cut your lines by cutting them! It was difficult to get wrenches on the top of the driver's side, so expect some assistance with the first one. It was a lot easier to get into the passenger compartment. Also, the bolts fit very snugly through the bottom of the shock assembly, but this can be accomplished with the right amount of force applied with a hammer. Last but not least, Fabtech clearly states that you must use their shocks with this kit. br>br> That is, of course, something they must say. Of course, if you buy a sweet kit like this and put low end shocks like Rancho's on it, the truck gnomes will come to your house and give you flat tires and missing left socks. The photos I've attached are from my truck, and they're exactly what you'll get, minus the shocks. 2005 Ford Excursion (2004 suspension) with a 6" lift and 37" Super Swamper SSR tires Bilstein 5125's are a type of shock absorber. br>br>I hope you found the review helpful. If I know the answers to a question, I usually respond.
It's absurd. For metric holes, they provide SAE bolts. I had hoped that the Fabtech name would imply some level of quality, but the kit is a joke. It's worth something if you're willing to put in the effort to make the kit right. I feel cheated and will never purchase another Fabtech product! The directions are completely ineffective. It's an overpriced kit that will need to be tweaked. I'd gladly pay for a good kit, and I assumed it would be a good kit for the price they charged. This kit is, unfortunately, a rip-off. off!.
br>br>This was a little more difficult to put together, but the assurance that these brackets will last makes it all worthwhile.
For my year vehicle, the directions were a little vague, but it all worked out and I'm happy.
Excellent kit, but make sure to use white lithium grease to lubricate everything.
