Buying them is a good idea. You cannot beat the price for this item. As the owner of many coilovers for various vehicles, I feel that these are just as secure and durable as the others. I have my spring stiffness set to 16 clicks out of the box and so far it has done well. You do not want to compress the coilover springs when installing these. You are increasing your preload if you do so. After the vehicle has been lifted off the ground, it should be possible to loosen the springs. It is most likely that they were installed incorrectly by some people, which is the reason for the bad reviews. The pictures show a set of 2" wheel spacers up front with my camber set to the maximum of In terms of rubbing, I don't have a problem, and I have plenty of room on the suspension to go an additional This is 5 inches lower than what it was. In order to order 1 rear wheel, I ordered 4. The 5” wheel spacers should fill in the gap on the fender by making the wheels sit flush with it. My overall opinion is very positive about these and I am more confident now when I drive. A "how to" install video guide and some mechanical expertise are required for the installation, but American muscle provides a video to explain We wish you luck in your endeavors!.
In the end they would not fit my car, so I contacted the seller to return them. I wanted more and more information about my car, but it did not help. The price for returning them was almost as much as what I had paid for them, so I decided to keep them.
A set of new springs was installed on an 04 Mustang Gt that had cut springs previously. I was pleased with the ride and the conditions were slightly better than yesterday. The height of the chair can be easily adjusted. As for the rears, I replaced them with another brand because I found the ride way too bouncy and I could not figure out how to tweak it. The fronts are OK, but they bounce when they meet, and they tambour a little when they touch. My opinion is that I would save up and purchase a better set or just replace the springs and struts with more reliable ones if I were going coil over again. If you are on a budget, this is good for show only, not so much for riding. It has been over six months since I've been using them.
The front of the cap does not fit. There is a need to trim the coils at the bottom where the bolts are built in. That wasn't such a bad thing It is a straight bolt in, but if you're expecting it to be a straight installation, you will be Apart from that, it isn't a bad price for the product.
They make the car handle much more efficiently and provide a smoother ride. Overall, for the price they are a great product and I are happy to recommend them.
The product contains all the necessary features. The installation went smoothly. The quality is exceptional, the performance is exceptional, the value is exceptional.
Despite high spring rates in front and low rates in back, the spring rate in both places is too high. Nevertheless, for 300 bucks I do feel I got what I paid.
It was easy to install, but you had to grind down some of the finish on the inside because it was too thick, but once you set them, they actually ride well.
