The suspension system on the 2004 Ford Econoline was the worst. The components were a perfect fit. It took an hour to set up. It took 45 minutes to install the first side. For the other, 15 points. There is a learning curve. There is no rust on this E450/RV van from the west coast. For the entire repair, I used 1/2-inch impact and a snap-on swivel adapter. The long bolts are 15 mm in diameter, with a 29-mm diameter for the short bolts. The big nut is 28mm in diameter. The 15mm long bolts were reinstalled with the help of a small jack. It took a few minutes to figure out the angle needed to straighten the bolts back through the frame, but it was surprisingly simple with a pry bar and a small jack. It was a breeze to disassemble. It was difficult to get the angle of the frame bolts just right. While using a jack and pry bar to get the proper angle on the frame bracket, leave the big nut loose.
This was, without a doubt, a huge error. The original manufacturer's warranty (OEM) was valid from 1993 to 1998. 2015 These were good for about three years. TRW or OEM type will be used next time. I'm not sure if the RED POLY are as good as the kids claim, but my van is much older! The price has increased 50% as well! If you have the opportunity, purchase American-made goods. I used to believe I knew everything there was to know about everything- I was, however, a child. If you're using bonded sway bar ends, There's a reason why everything is bonded and pressed together. as a result, they won't POP OUT.
What used to be a smooth-riding van is now more like a work truck, with rough roads and minor bumps being transferred to the passenger compartment.
On a 91 Ford E-350, these bushings are a perfect replacement for worn ones. 150 br>Replacement parts of the highest quality! We've recently heard mixed reviews about Moog replacement parts, but we've been restoring an old van with only Moog parts and have had no fitment or quality issues. br>br>Until we see any quality issues, we'll continue to buy and install Moog brand quality parts on our own vehicles.
The original equipment on this 250 superduty van was still intact. Obviously, the old parts were completely worn out, and the moog improved it to the point where it was better than new.
We were experiencing a knocking noise under our 2002 E150 Van, which we were able to resolve. It did, however, reveal some flaws in our suspension system. When it rains, it pours, as the old saying goes, and our Van has been no exception. With its bushings and wheel alignment, Ford created a truly shoddy design. This takes care of some of the most common suspension problems caused by worn bushings.
It performed admirably and at a reasonable cost.
On a 2002 Ford E250, the installation is simple.
