It's a good value, but it's not easy to install on a driveway
4/5

My overall impression is good. From the page, it seems as if installing this product is simple but it will take me a while after the driveway is prepared. You would be able to do it much more conveniently if you had access to a lift. A good way to put a back and a front together is to have a sense of placement. It is a task that I have never done before, even though I am mechanically inclined. As I was removing so many bolts and parts in my truck, I was a bit nervous. It was very time consuming, but I managed to get it done and youtube has good resources there. Below I have included my before and after photos. As for the tires, I hope to go up in size soon to make it look more aggressive. Also, you will need to align it once you've completed the project.

Honestly, I was not impressed with installation
4/5

I would say that you NEED washers for installation. I was a little disappointed with the overall quality, which is quite good for the price. It's a little stiffer than expected, but that's why I had hoped to use it more. 34 is the maximum size that I could fit. The size of this document is six by eleven inches. There is no trimming or rubbing on 5" wide tires on wheels with a +12mm offset. All went well during the installation. claim that it can be done without a spring compressor, and that is true. However, a spring compressor would definitely make the process easier. A tight fit is evident on the installation of the struts. It is the bolts that attach the strut spacer to the strut mount that I have a problem with. In this case, the bolts are socket head hex bolts, but they should really be flange head or should be equipped with The bolt heads of the supplied bolts are barely larger than the holes in the strut mount. When installing this with the supplied bolts, you MUST use washers beneath, as they are not big enough to conceal the bolt heads. There is a high probability of an accident occurring.

It is exactly how it is advertised
5/5

I received the product as advertised, it fit my 2016 F-150 There are no creeks or weird noises coming from up front, so I'd say it's a good ride. The product has been a pleasure to work with and I'll be referring this product whenever I'm asked what my setup on my F-28 is My review will be edited in a few months to ensure the quality of the product is up to date for future buyers.

I will have a F- in 2019 The 150 XLT is based on I am satisfied with the money I spent on the 5" level
5/5

As I did extensive research before buying the Motofab 2, I have no idea where to begin. I bought a 2019 F-150 with a 5" level kit I am currently driving a 150 XLT Supercrew. There were going to be charges of $1250 for installing a front level kit at a Ford dealership. The price was $850 to be paid by me with parts being supplied by a 3rd party garage. Having called a trusted friend (a master mechanic with over 30 years experience), I asked what I should do. In spite of reading the instructions and watching the instructions videos, it took us 3 hours to install. This was a fairly straightforward process but it was not without There were fewer problems on the passenger side than the driver's side. The biggest problem was the brake lines and wiring in the ABS. Taking out the wiring and installing the kit isn't difficult. You have to try not to pop any fluid lines. Note that the kit is easy to fit without causing damage to the struts. The only challenging part is taking it out and putting it back in. This is the best looking truck I have ever seen. Spending money well was a wise choice. There is no doubt that the Motofab kit is high-quality and well worth the price. This was a fun way for me and a friend to save $1000.

With the baby, the height was higher than expected - I am very pleased with the boost engine
5/5

It is an excellent product for the price. My preference would be to get the 2" instead of the 2" if I were to do it again. I chose 5" for my truck because it has a baby-size bed I think I gained more height than I had I am very happy with the way the truck looks after it's been unloaded! As the boat is being pulled, there is a lot of squatting. There will not be much squat this year since I plan to add a camper shell and gear during duck season. I will also add a spacer to the rear to compensate for the weight. It wasn't hard to install if you have worked on anything with an independent suspension before. While taking extra stuff off and loosening the lower a arm, I still had difficulty taking the strut out and putting it back in. If you are putting on the spacer, you may want to note that the spacer has a little wiggle around the bolts, so don't tighten one more than the other (which you shouldn't do Ensure that they are both held tightly. This ride is about the same quality as last time. In the case of potholes, the only difference that I notice is when I hit them. I'm running stock tires for now, but I will change to 275/70r18 tires either in September or October, which will make it look very good.

Spend at least one afternoon working, and be sure to have the right The package arrived pretty quickly, and it was easy to open
4/5

This side project was handled by a buddy of mine since I had little to no experience with anything of the sort. In spite of neither of us having installed a leveling kit before, he used the knowledge he gained from previous times and the wonderful wonderful video on YouTube to complete the project. Here we are. A 2012 Ford F-150 resides in my garage Getting the 2 out of 150 was easy. Approximately 5 inches in diameter. This leveling kit created a near-perfect level for my truck, within a half-inch or so. A. ) tightened and loosened the strut assembly multiple times. B. We survived 6 and a half chilly hours of wind, cold, and cuss-free play, and, surprisingly, came out on top after only two rounds. Approximately 5 inches in diameter. Kit experience is gained by leveling up. Some videos mention an alignment of the front end, but we were able to straighten it out on our own. Despite the rough ride and straight driving of the truck, it will be able to accept some nice 33's with minimal trimming to prevent My limit would be 2. I would not go beyond that. Approximately 5 inches in diameter. It took me a few weeks and a lot of video watching to figure out how others got their strut back in place, but with time I was able to figure it out. "oh, it should just pop right out after loosening this here nut," should just come out. It will be an easy peasy process for them. "We need to shove experience down our throats. The rebar in my house is poor. You'll have to resort to what we had to do if you don't have a strong prybar. Overall, I'm really happy with the outcome, we had a lot of fun, and the truck looks good without that factory look.

This is an excellent product at an affordable price
4/5

They look great, and they fit without rubbing or cutting 305/55/20s. When I make very sharp turns with any significant speed, it seems as if the control arm hits the strut spring, but this is exceptionally rare. During the install, I believe it took longer than the guys at the shop thought it would, but I can't help but think that it was more difficult than they thought, or perhaps just that they started it too late in the day and didn't want to stay late. so far there have been no issuers and it has been praised by all who have seen it. If I go to a drop control arm in the near future, it will just be to take care of the rubbing issue, but the price for the over all effect is excellent.
