If you wish to replace the spacers with the Bilstine 2” lift struts, I suggest that you buy them. In the end, the spacers change the geometry of the suspension so that more often the rings are worn out and need to be replaced.
The 2020 4x4 is equipped with this system. The installation process is simple. This body type has a different shape to the lines on the body. It appears that the wheel gap on the fender wells is the same front to back, and the pinch weld on the body is also level. A flat ground appears to show that the body is an inch or two nose down. That's how it appears to me, at least.
It was a great product and the customer service was excellent. Despite its age, the truck runs and rides like a dream.
The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to install them myself with my son. They are great to lift a truck with, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to.
It is highly recommended that you loosen up the 36mm Axle Hub bolt so that it is only threaded on This will provide you with the extra inch or more you will need to slide that Struts back into place with minimal effort. If not, you will be mumbling to yourself for an hour, cursing.
What was described was exactly what happened. Despite the fact that we are both novice mechanics, the project took us around two hours to complete. About 1 1/2 inches was lifted on the front end. Fit this into a 2021 Ram 1500 lone star 4x4 with a V-8. Getting the leveled truck you want is easy with this well-designed spacer. Because the strut bolts directly onto it, you don't have to compress the spring during installation, which makes it easier to do. There is no difference in ride quality. Truck rides just as smooth as before. During installation, the front end was realigned and the wheels were realigned so that the vehicle drives exactly like stock now. I recommend that you get a ball joint separator. I got it done with help from another guy in about two hours. Whether you buy one or rent one, the job is made much easier and quicker with one. The kit is an excellent investment for anyone who wants to start a business!.
Trucks are leveled when leveling is done. The rake bit makes it look like it is slanting backwards, which I prefer to the lean. Lifts like this one are exactly what you need and make a huge difference to your home.
