The wheel size of my 2012 Chevy 1500 2wd is 20". After installing the 2" leveling kit on my truck, I was able to fit 33" wheels. Thanks for reading, I hope this helped
It was only an alignment I needed when I installed my own.
If you want to install new torsion keys (also called duck keys), you will have to get new keys. Hope you have a good day!
MotorFab is a good, affordable product, and Rough Country also offers a good product, although it has a little more price for the product. It all depends on which type of vehicle you have.

Different leveling kits are available in different sizes and styles, and are referred to as a leveling kit generically. In general, people buy them to raise the front end of their car rather than to "level" their vehicle. Although in reality, the side of the truck that faces the drive may be a little different than the side facing the passenger, and no two trucks are raked exactly in the same way. Despite that, I found this kit to be exactly what I was looking My arguments for lifting the front too much did not merely stem from my dislike of the stock rake, but from endless research into possible increased wear on the front suspension provided by too much lifting of the front. My decision was made on the basis that it would not cause my control arms or CV angles to go outside of their safe The decision I made was a good one. It is almost unnoticeable that there is still a little bit of rake left, which is good for me as I Furthermore, there is still plenty of space between the UCA and bump stop to allow travel. Because it is machined, the top strut mount application is relatively hidden and keeps the lift in the shadows while still maintaining an overall stock appearance. In terms of quality, the Motofab unit seems to be competitive with more expensive models. My view is that overall, this purchase helped me fit larger tires and improve the appearance of my truck by lifting the front end just enough to improve the look of my front end. In addition to other reviews, you will have to trim the existing upper strut studs to have the Motofab unit sit flush, but I honestly don't see that as a big deal. I would rate it a 4, then. I gave it a 9 out of 10.
My 2016 Z71 1500 is equipped with MotoFab 2" rings. Here are a few things to keep in mind Please note In addition, the rear wheel well is 39 inches tall after installation. The front of the tee measures 25" wide. It's only about an eighth of an inch Darn near level will be considered by me - Initially, the studs that come with the rings are *10mm shorter than stock
*The clips used to attach the wiring harness to the factory studs are no longer useful (THIS MUST In the factory, strut mounting studs protrude past the ring mounting surface. Hence, the studs need to be cut down by *10mm to eliminate interference (NO NOTE IN INSTRUCTIONS). It is handy to remove the upper control arm with the clamp and install it again I am secure
As a result of the re-roofing, the struts turn 180 degrees the link between the sway bar and the wheels will aid in handling your vehicle. You do not need to disconnect your tie rod that's why-- The rake no longer seems to be noticeable after the final results.
I read everything that I could find about it saying it doesn't affect handling, feels the same as stock, and saw no difference A kit like this will level the front of your truck, but it isn't all it is touted It becomes stiffer to steer, especially around tight turns, it is more uncomfortable to ride, and it is less efficient. The procedure will require me to remove it and realign it when I have the time. My truck has gotten worse due to my spending too much money in the process. In the factory, the truck was built the way it was for a reason. By leveling, all the angles change, and the pickup's feel is different as well. I don't think it's right either.
I've tried several shim systems on my trucks for just the front, but Motofab's 2" is the one that I've been the most satisfied A solid aluminum construction looks to be well built, and I prefer the strut tower puck to a control arm spacer found in Besides blending into the suspension, black gives it a more sophisticated look. 2" seems to be on the money in my opinion, and anything over 2" would probably call for different rear blocks. With this body style, it's possible to have a bit of a visual collision with the color of your rig, but the hood itself is almost perfectly level, far from being nose As I usually don't haul heavy loads or include a big trailer in my trips, it is perfect for me. It is just slightly different from stock but has a very nice look and is well worth it. From the shop that did the install, I did not hear of any issues. As well as an alignment, which is highly recommended, I had a massage. We were very pleased with the product, the price, and the shipping time. Thanks a lot!.
The kit is not a bad one, however the strut tower studs do need to be modified for the 2" leveling feet Pucks in the kit do not recess the factory studs. Grab a cutting tool and make your own Take the studs off the wheel and take about 1/4" each. You can use an extra nut that fits the stud to thread the threads on the stud before cutting, and then back it off to clean A separate steering knuckle from the upper control arm does not need to be removed to remove the strut assembly. My only modification was to remove the tie rod end and the strut tower could be dropped You can find demonstrations of the same procedure on YouTube. It has a bit stiffer ride quality than last year.
