This steering stabilizer was recommended to me by a friend. The Fox 2 shocks worked great, I replaced all the shocks with them. There are zero shocks in the performance series. This is however well worth the effort. Safety is the issue here the Ford TSB was completed for this problem, and these are the necessary modifications to fix it. The hardest part of installing is removing the tapered side of the OEM stabilizer. I'll update if I run into any problems. It took me less than two hours to complete the job, and I take my time and move at a reasonable pace. A ball joint fork is the only special tool required.
A 2017 F250 with this kit installed. It took a little ingenuity to remove the OEM stabilizer, but it didn't take long to install this one. As a result, I was no longer experiencing death wobbles. The skewer has been on my head for a few months now and I've never felt it wobble.
It is very nice and exactly what I hoped it would be. I have an F-35 with a steering stabilizer It never seemed to wobble for me, as people have said and shown on YouTube, but I found the steering to be a little vague and the vehicle to wander occasionally. As far as I can tell, it appears to be helpful. My steering is noticeably stiffer (5 clicks from full) when set to five clicks out from full. It seems to fit well, be well-constructed, and appear to be very solid. So far, I've only had it on my truck for two weeks, and it seems to function.
