It took about an hour for me to install the lift kit. The rear springs should be fitted with a short spacer. There are 21 inch tires on my new car. The band went on without any spacers. I love how smooth the ride is and how well the steering works.
Your model number can be found by looking at the first letter or two. PQ = precedent. (Example AG = DS gas). Number one is the year, number two is month, and number three is the day of the week. 2000 = 2000)
There is no way I can tell. To find out the dealer who sold it to you, or another company that sells GTW golf cart parts, contact the vendor who sold it to you. Thank you for your time. I apologize that I cannot provide more assistance.
You'll need blocks to lift the entire cart since it has lifting blocks for the rear. My sincere thanks go out to

It's quick and easy to install! I find the instructions to be relatively clear and it was easy for me to install the kit. On Youtube you can find many videos that explain how to do this. There was also an additional rear bracket included with my kit to accommodate Not only does this make sense, but it also doesn't surprise me. In fact, the heavy duty leaf spring raises the rear end without the use of I used 12" rims with 23" tires and the additional brackets were 2" lower, which corrects the rake issue. Normally, my cart would be raked frontward. As a result of this, the cart really gets up in the air, and I was worried it wouldn't fit in the garage, but I made it. I still have to pull in and out as it rubs ever so slightly. Measuring before attempting to lift is the best approach. To determine the length of your lift, measure the height of your cart and add 6" to it. As well as the additional tire height, you will have to add. In my original tires, I believe the size was It would be (23" - 5", so The product of 5)/2 is A total lift of 8" from the tire height is obtained with a 25" lift from the tire height. This lifts the body 25 inches in total.
In general, the installation is very straightforward. It was sometimes difficult to figure out where to go, but pictures were very helpful. Some others have already complained about the short length of the Heim joints. I will be checking them periodically as there is barely enough thread to bolt the joints in place. It is not possible for me to perfect the camber even then. At $30-$40 a piece, they are expensive to replace It is a waste to have to pay 40 each, so the kit isn't worth the price. Replace them with a more expensive kit and you will be paying for the better build quality. The kit comes with a second set of rear blocks that you can use if you have springs installed, but this is not mentioned in any of the literature. The A arms do not come preloaded, so be sure you have a grease gun handy before you install them. This is okay, the price is decent, but for safety reasons the heim joints should be replaced voluntarily by the manufacturer. This edit shows how it worked out. ****Update**** Leaving the original review as is so the original issue is preserved and this edit shows how it worked out. Stock tires were the subject of my initial review. In addition to the suspension, I didn't consider where the tires would sit with different sizes. After installation of 14” rims and 23” tires, I now drive on a 16” wheel. Having adjusted the camber once again, but now in the opposite direction, I needed to check the caster once again. With the lower heim joints, there is now enough thread to run through the nut and they are installed with the right amount of camber and safely. We are much happier with the setup now, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
I am extremely impressed with your Installing this product was very easy. In addition to making my golf cart look great, it handles very well too! You're the best! Take a look at my before-and-after pics, they speak for themselves. My second cart needs one too. I'll order another one.
bought a 2010 Precedent IQ that came with a Jake's rigid spindle lift installed previously. I was told by a golf cart customizer that the previous kit would break in really rough spots, such as gopher holes and rabbit burrows. The cart used to make loud tire noises and take almost 3 times as long in radius to make a turn before installing the GTW. As far as my 22" Saharas go, I already have HD rear springs and have lifted the rear 6". China makes this kit, as well as nearly all of the others. If you have Jake's rigid spindle lift kit installed, make sure you order two M14 - it will be much easier to install Flange nuts are needed for this project, but Jake's uses a huge castle nut, which makes sense since he uses heavier axles. You will have to leave your cart unfinished until you have the M14's on hand. Thanks to the Ace on the corner, I was able to buy Here is a picture of the stainless and #8 washers I used. I find this to be a workaround that is acceptable. It took 5 hours with meticulous attention, a half hour break for a trip to Ace and 5 hours of work. The hydraulic floor jack or a swarthy friend you had better have on hand, you're gonna need them! Power tools were readily available, but I had to use many wrenches, a prybar, a During installation, it is crucial to align the rims, and you will need to use the warning sticker that comes with the kit. Upon installation, the kit allows for almost no vibrations or road noise and much better shock absorption. It gives the cart a turning radius almost within the radius of the sticker (that's why it has that sticker). There are many trails in the rural area where I live. All the kits there on the net look incredibly robust and I trust the sheer amount of metal in the lower A-frames These are the arms included with the kit. There's a better one (RHOX BMF), but this is still a good choice for a summer getaway The highway. The customizer I spoke with explained that she uses these kits because they are affordable.
Just a few days ago, I installed this lift on my 2008 Precedent electric cart. My time was taken and I triple checked everything, so it took me close to 4 hours to install. I bought the cart a couple weeks ago and it needed all new bushings, so I bought this lift rather than just doing the bushings myself. In my experience, the installation went smoothly with no fitment issues. The instructions are vague in some spots, but I was able to work through them. I have had trouble setting the camber right. I screwed the upper heim joints in all the way, and I am still a little out of camber in the top of the car. I do not plan on worrying about it, but it appears that I needed more threads in the lower heim joints in order to pull the bottom out farther. Once installed and aligned, the cart drives quite nicely. Smooth ride, not to rigid, seems to be better than before, even though the bushings were shot beforehand. So far, I am still with the small tires, which looks foolish. Later, I will replace them with 22" or 23" tires. It was important to me that the ride be smooth, and I did not want to convey a lot of weight, particularly when used on offroad terrain. Now that I have the setup right, I am happy with it. My review is dated 5/15/2020, I will update in the future if I encounter any issues or if I have any.
This kit appears to be good, but there is one significant flaw - the bolts are too short. There are not enough threads left on the lower arms to adjust the camber. Even with the top control arm links/bolts adjusted, there were not enough thread left on the lower arms to adjust the camber. Camber is the slope of a road. In order to use lock tight instead of the supplied thick lock washers, I removed the thick washers that were supplied. Obviously, these lower arms have high loads. The adjustment bolts should be at least 3/4 inch longer than the stock bolts for full thread contact. 2006 Club Precedent with stock tires and wheels.
