A slight curve should be added to the bar. This is so that when the bolts are tightened, there is pressure on both ends of the bar instead of just one end where it is tightened

I didn't end up fitting my truck with them

We returned it because the part was supposed to fit into my truck, I didn't know that the bolts provided weren't comparable to those for a lined bed because the bed was too thick.
