I can't believe how hard I fought and how concerned I was that my Porsche 911 Turbo S's center locks were not fully engaged. I tried a few ideas I found online, but they didn't work. The center locking pin sprung out flush after about 10 seconds with this tool. It's a tad overpriced because it's a three-course meal. However, the fact that it is D printed rather than metal does not detract from the fact that it does the job and alleviates a great deal of stress.
I purchased the tool a few months ago in anticipation of switching to winter tires. When the time came to use it, however, I discovered that the tool's working end was inadequate for the job. I had no choice but to use the Porsche-supplied tool, which did the job admirably. It is not compatible with the Porsche 911/991. 1/As advertised, the Turbo S. I'm hoping to work out a solution with the seller or the manufacturer.
What it says on the tin is exactly what it does. When reinstalling wheels, this tool is ideal for popping out the center wheel locks.
This is a tool that Porsche should have in their toolbox. It was an excellent solution. This is a tool that Porsche should have in its toolbox.
