Questions & Answers
When I am taking my vision test at the DMV, I usually ask the lady there for help in determining which option is best for me.
It is not possible to install boots if the shaft end is left attached to the shock.
I plan to use radiator clamps with rounded edges as the end ends of the boot are about 1/2 inch long for zip ties, or I will use zip ties. The boot is 12" tip to tip, but the ends are about 1/2 inch long for zip ties.
It is packaged. The shipping dimensions are listed as the product dimensions on Amazon for some reason.

be effective on steering dampers or shocks with a great deal of movement. For the price, the quality of materials was adequate, but not suitable for the applications I needed. This pen came with a zip tie like most others (some brands came In addition, there may be a second zip tie you need for the small end, since the top end tends to slip right off. This boot fits too tightly around the shock body and has too much taper. As a result, if it is pushed all the way down, it will stretch and not slide over the shock. You can pull the boot down too far if you want it to pop off the top end, but if you don't pull it down far enough (too much material), it will slip the other way over the top end. When it expands or contracts, it should be able to slide freely, yet clamp to the shock. As my lift shocks are too long and have only 3 inches of travel, they will probably work for now. It's a good idea to go for shorter shocks with a dust cap built in. It is not going to work on my steering damper shock since its full range of motion is required and these are too tapered or skinny for that purpose as are others I have tried. If they haven't changed to the skinny style boot as well, you might want to look for a Monroe boot. If not, I just leave the damper boot off and hope for the best.
There was terrible flashing coming from the moldings that would have earned me a 5 star review. I had to cut it all off after a long time. Despite this, they were very pliable, and with a moderate effort, they were able to wear them in just over five.
As a result of the lifting, the boots are almost at their maximum, but they Although the boots came with zip ties, I recommend using bigger and thicker zip ties to keep them tight.
They fit perfectly on my larger diameter 0-inch shocks, so I would recommend buying them when ordering new shocks. The lift is 3" and the shocks are HD. This is not good for factory replacement shocks or anything, as those are.
Available in any color you can dream of, they are highly durable and be made well.
It was as described, good shock boots for a great price, and they did not have zip ties.
Product received within a short time. I replaced my worn boot on my skyjacker stabilizer, and it worked great. It takes about 5 minutes to do.
The steering shock would not fit properly on the Bilstein.
