Don't be fooled into thinking that removing your oil pressure switch with a 1 1/16" deep socket will be easy. All you have to do now is round off the corners. On a GMC 5 from the year 2004. 3 You'll only need a 3/8 drive ratchet and a special oil pressure deep socket. Pull the connector's latch off the tab and out of the switch by reaching down behind the engine. After that, reach for a short 3/8" ratchet and slide it onto the socket. You'll simply position the handle so that you can back the switch off a revolution or two with small movements until you can spin it out by hand; this shouldn't take more than 5 minutes in total.
Compared to buying $50 worth of auto parts from an auto parts store, this is a better option and price. Since installing it on my 2007 Silverado Classic 1500, I've had no problems.
