It is possible to connect a hose to accommodate the idle control valve within this Air Mass Meter Boot which fits between the air box and throttle body. There is no evidence this part will fit the 2004 BMW 330i, so we are sorry.

No complications with the fit. I would say that it is as good as a genuine bmw part. Can be used to fix P0171 and Banking institution 1 and institution 2 have a lean balance sheet. The problem was caused by multiple misfires, and this fixed it. Hence, if you get those codes, I would start by checking the lower intake boot first.
It was clearly clocked wrong and was a good half turn off where it should have been looking at the tab at the end. It was easy to cut off the tab & I I just dropped it in place and it was so easy I liked how tight it fit & when I tried it on, it looked great As soon as I turned it where I needed it, it was now where I needed it to be Use some white lithium grease on the lip and the rubber seal on the throttle body will not go on the throttle body, but overall a great product that made a lot of improvement for the throttle body's The boot replacement can be done at the same time because this will work. Use original equipment or the mfg's, but this lil elbow doesn't have the same angle as original equipment. By repositioning it, I was able to get everything working.
A first glance suggests that this lower boot seems to be fine, but its length and diameter are both incorrect. When I applied silicon seal and heated it, it was impossible to press it firmly onto its connections. Since the angle of the upper intake boot and MAF is off when it is installed, the upper intake boot and MAF do not fit well on the air box because of its odd proportion. As a result, the entire intake system is put under unnecessary stress.
