Starting it and immediately shutting it down would result in no action. Replacing the part was the right thing to do and solved my problem, and I saved thousands of dollars A mechanic would have charged $300, compared to just the price of the part), but because I got a crappy part, all the savings were wasted. Living and learning is the only way to achieve success. Possibly, the part I received is not genuine Denso (my OEM Denso MAF also Use, for example), or was. I'm very disappointed with this product, and will be wary of buying similar products from Amzn in the future, since there's a possibility that the products may not be of high I have a 2002 Camry V6 with 130k Getting the dreaded check engine light and not wanting to spend any money on an old, beat-up car was a serious deterrent to me. When it comes to cars, I am an idiot, but I like DIY fixing a lot of stuff around the house. The air filter needs to be changed and the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned for some easy troubleshooting techniques. It was cleared for a few months with a clean MAF, but then the problem resurfaced. My car continued to run rough for a couple of months, thinking that it was going to be expensive to fix, and it certainly did not feel You should not do this in order to protect the engine! I finally realized that it would be simple and inexpensive to replace the MAF sensor with a new one, as it would solve my problem. Should have been obvious since cleaning the MAF was sufficient The problem here is that I didn't want to waste money on a random knockoff part, so I settled on this Denso replacement (the OEM was also Denso) and found it for a good price on Amazon compared to other sites. I replaced the MAF sensor, which took all of 2 minutes. I cleared the code, and the problem has been resolved. I haven't seen a check engine light and things are driving better! I hope it sticks, but I am sure the sensor had to be replaced regardless, and a mechanic would have charged over triple that amount. Thank you for a great result!.
You should check the Denso web site to make sure the part is ordered correctly. After cleaning the exterior of the old MAF sensor, I removed it, waited one day until it was completely dry, then reinstalled it. As part of the installation process, a new hole was covered with a cap to prevent dirt from entering. My engine started to run more smoothly and more powerful when I got my order and installed the new MAF sensor. There was a dramatic difference in power I will also obey the advice of my mechanic here in not cleaning the old MAF sensor. I would appreciate it if you would follow my example as well. It is not enough to simply clean the rubber gasket all the way around the perimeter of the sensor (you can easily damage it), the old sensor can take air from the gasket and the engine light will still be on, hence, the computer will not detect the proper fuel mixture. The inner tube wires also need to be cleaned, but that isn't possible to reach and clean, so it will be a waste of your time and it may not work, so go with the new one and you'll be amazed by the power boost. In my opinion, this sensor should be replaced at least once every 50 years The mileage of your car must be at least 80K to improve the performance. There is no off-shift after the sensor is installed. Please be aware that at first the engine check-light stays on. In two days, I drove 30 miles, and it took me four cold starts to turn off the lamp. It is suggested that you plug in the negative and positive ends of the battery and reconnect them to reset the light (be careful some cars require you to enter radio codes when you unplug the If the light doesn't come back on, you can go to your mechanic OR to an Autozone to have the light reset, OR you can wait a few days like I.
After I noticed an error code P0171 'System Too Lean Bank 1' on my 2004 Toyota Rav4, I decided to clean the MAF sensor in the hope that it would solve my problem. The car was used for my daily commute without modifying a thing, and the check-up came at no additional cost P0171 came back three days later screaming the same thing. A Denso 197-E was the machine I used My faulty MAF sensor was replaced through a technician's call at 6030, and the car ran for a week without any problems There will no longer be a check-in process This light comes on when the engine is running. After the smog check, I took the car to an auto repair shop for a few repairs. Nearly two weeks have passed since I replaced the fuel gauge and the MAF sensor There is no reason not to buy this product from this On the left is the OEM and on the right is the replacement part.
