That's a yes in my book. Having done both, I know which works best for me. The first time I bought the whole tube with sensor, then the second time I just bought the sensor. The manufacturer's rating for my 2008 GMC Sierra is 5 out of 10. Both sensors are the same
A key card is included with it. Youtube can be found by searching.
The part is bad generic. I installed it on my 2006 Pontiac G6 and the car would not start. The replacement part for this particular part should come from Adelco.

The original was exactly the same. Getting the old one out is the most fun part. This device will need to be removed from the flexible air tube it is housed in, and the replacement has a little credit attached to it In this case, a key sized like a credit card is inserted into the downstream slot to release the on-line clock It is held in place by a snap on the board. Because it was made of unbreakable plastic, I had to use a screwdriver to pry the original sensor out of the tube (while holding the "key") despite the housing and sensor outer surfaces being made from metal. Plastic that is hard and pryable. As a result, you will have to use a lot of force to install the new one since the snap is quite powerful. Please do not touch the resistors and STAY AWAY from touching the resistors, of course. Specifically, I was having problems shifting "oddly. ". If you want to be more precise, your transaxle isn't shifting at all, it's only using the MAF sensor code (no drag Here is what I came up with. didn't make any difference, but two days later I discovered that my negative battery terminal was loose, and when I determined why the car was dead and connected the battery again, the strange shifting problem disappeared!.
My car received lean codes P0171 and P0174, service stabilitrak, and traction control off messages, and after replacing O2 sensors and a PCV valve with modification, and doing a lot of research online, I decided that the MAF sensor needed to be replaced. After the gamble, replacing just the sensor turned out to be worth it, and the old housing could be easily swapped out. Using the instructions and video I found on the internet, I was able to accomplish this task very easily. It also made a lot of sense to do it myself for a very reasonable price.
There was no latch to lock it in and it was broken. When I slipped it in and the issue was fixed, I pulled it back out and put RTV on the oring prior to sticking it together. You can save a few bucks from AW, and I do quite often, but you may have to use your imagination, like I I had never tried it before, but THIS was my first attempt.
There are 8 liters of gasoline in the tank. When the computer encountered the failure, it inhibited the accelerator pedal, leaving the vehicle at a minimum speed. There are even times when it shuts down. As an added bonus, the original sensor is much more expensive, and it is also sold together with the plastic base where it is inserted, so you could just leave the base alone. My truck was taken to a Kia technician to have the sensor installed and then scanned, and it worked like a charm! I've been having a great time so far!
I recommend it without a doubt.
I think that's an awesome This product comes with instructions and is easy to use An interesting video can be found on You Tube After the housing has been removed from the car, it will take about 15 minutes. There is no doubt that this guy pushing the unit into place is Braced against another door frame, I pressed the hand against the frame, while leaning against the other side. You will hear the click when you push hard enough.
There can be no simultaneous failure of two oxygen sensors on opposite sides of the engine, so I looked to see if I could find another solution. This was resolved by replacing the MAF sensor. The removal of the old MAF sensor was not easy. It says to put it into a slot, but I could not locate the key mentioned in the instruction. Upon closer inspection, the key is shaped like a credit card and was in that When I realized I had lost the key, I was able to get a replacement. If I have five minutes next time, I can accomplish it.
A new MAF needs to be installed in order to re-set the code. A month and a half ago, it did everything it needed to, but has now stopped working. We will have to replace them This is a poor quality product.
Install took only a few minutes. The kit comes with a tool to depress the tab securing the air pipe. Then, clear the code and restart. The problem is now solved.
