Questions & Answers

Could this be used to remove the oil residue left behind by a K&N intake system?

Thank you, Eric! I hope it works out! You have a good point there. Thank you.

Using it How do I go about When and how should I use this?

Easy to do. You want to choose the one that was originally done by Nick Stageberg. Since the battery is negatively charged, you'll have to remove the negative terminal first.

Is this the correct one to use to clean throttle bodies?

a cleaner for electronic parts if you're looking for a cleaner for your throttle body that is less sensitive to water and chemicals, I'd recommend the fuel injector/throttle body cleaner.

Can you tell me if the shelf life of the product is limited or if it has an Thanks so much. ?

It does not appear that the can contains an expiration date, and there are no restrictions on its shelf life.

I've fixed my Check Engine Light this morning (P0171 - System too lean) by following these simple steps
5/5

A warning light that comes on when your engine is running. It was a bit upsetting when the check engine light came on in my old Camry that still runs great. Because I have no trust in mechanics and I don't know much about cars, I thought I would do some troubleshooting on the internet first. I bought an OBD-II device for a good price We used it after watching a YouTube video after installing an II scanner, checking the gas cap, changing the engine air filter, and finally following up with an II scanner. I found it very easy to do. We were able to achieve our goal! Since the check engine light went out almost six months ago, the check engine light has not returned. Before I waste a lot of money on a mechanic, I decided to give it a try. You may not like it, but it's definitely worth a shot. In view of the fact that this product kept the check engine light off for over a year, I believe that it was During an engine inspection, I found the MAF sensor to be faulty and replaced it myself. You should note For my car, changing the sensor was super easy (it took me a screwdriver and less than 5 minutes), saving me a considerable amount of money over having a mechanic do it (I received an.

I was surprised at how cheap and easy it was! The fact that this worked surprised me quite a bit
5/5

There was a p0171 code on my Acura (fuel system too lean) and my car was getting poor fuel economy. In the meantime, my car is getting better gas mileage, as the code was removed and the car is now running more smoothly. To verify mileage, I haven't yet refilled the tank, but there has already been a significant improvement. For a few bucks, it isn't bad to try this stuff, it can save you a lot of money.

The MAF sensor has to be clean for this to pay for itself
5/5

It was so easy to use and such a simple maintenance task, but it has made a significant difference in my vehicle's efficiency. The flow rate ranges from 1 g/s to 5 g/s. It is due solely to the cleaning that 1 g/s is produced. I dropped my rpm's even though it was just by 20rpm at idle and the tickover was smoothed out as a result. This is incredible! It only took me 10 minutes to accomplish all this. Highly recommend a quick clean of the MAF sensor every time you replace your air filter, especially if it is an oil coated filter like K&N This is me (i.

It works as promised, no damage was done to my MAF, it dries quickly and cleanly, and no damage was caused to my There was a noticeable improvement in throttle response and the engine started up quicker It was very easy to use, I removed the MAF plenum and sprayed (using shop towels under the sensors) those sensors, they look like resistors underneath
5/5

In addition to the MAF sensor plate on my car (an 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix), I also sprayed the sensor plate. I have filled about 90% of this can after several good bursts. Considering how little I use, this can should last quite a while. This product is much needed for a component that is often overlooked. It should be used after changing the air filter.

Fixable with just a few steps! During my check engine light and codes related to intake, there was an issue with Having just replaced the filter, I wanted to see what this was all about
5/5

First time I cleaned it, there was a lot of oil on the sensor, but the fault code still remained. As I was about to replace the sensor, I decided to use a half of the can on it to make sure it worked. I soaked it in this cleaner for a long time and finally got rid of the codes. Compared to replacing the MAF with the same results, this saved me $190. If you need to replace your MAF, give this a try instead! P2199, and P2873 codes removed from my EcoDiesel Ram).

The price and product were outstanding
5/5

Unfortunately, I had problems with poor performance and illumination of the "Check Engine" light during acceleration. After a K&N, the vehicle was sold to the current owner Using a water filter on it for years I discovered that the oil and dust from the filter could stick to the Mass Air Flow Sensor, which could lead to reading errors and performance problems. This product works well at removing the oil and dust. Seeing that Amazon offered it at a good price, I ordered it and received it the next day. I cleaned the Mass Air Flow Sensor and reinstalled it. I was able to notice the difference immediately. With the pedal to the metal, there is better acceleration, and the check engine light is no longer displayed. Definitely worth the price!.

Doesn't clean as fast as brake cleaner, but cleans pretty well
5/5

BMW fans would benefit from a discount on a Maf sensor considering their high appetite for the device. It carries an E39 license plate (m5). A few days of cleaning with this product affects me only temporarily, then I'm back to my sluggish self. Mafs can be covered in solid poop in Asian cars and they will still function. It's just going to be delivered to me. Anyhow, it's a terrific product, bravo for having an amazing spray for removing dirt and grime (@ Then wait for one second. Blasts)
I also use it to clean out electronics and butane lighter jets, and to clean my phone's charging port. It works great for cleaning flashlights too, as it eliminates all aluminum oxide in the threads in one step. Thank you for offering this product at a reasonable price.

Correct use of this tool can save you thousands of dollars
5/5

To begin, I suggest you watch Scotty Kilmer on YouTube so you can get educated on the "Check Engine Light and the Blue Driver device in order to figure out what's wrong As the Mass Air Flow sensor sits just in front of the air inlet path to the air cleaner, it is not all that unusual for it to be dirty and it may not be setting the amount of fuel being injected correctly. To fix it, you take it out, spray it as Scotty demonstrated in his Mass Air video, let it dry, reinstall it and drive around for several minutes until you notice a change in the Engine Control Module / computer The light turns off as the adjustment is made. If you have a new $100 Blue Driver testing tool, you may be able to reset your computer.
