I put it in the engine last night and took it for a spin to see if it works. works as it should and it does exactly what it is supposed to. My personal policy is that I only buy refurbished electronics that are backed by a warranty, and I do my best to avoid plastic parts in my vehicle. Nonetheless, I was a little concerned about the part because some of the feedback I received was worrying. It is a 1999 Suburban with a 454 in it, and the MAF is the original one from the On a trip, I measured the MAF readings and they seemed off at highway speeds (at least 65 miles per hour), so the fuel trim values kept going above 25%, and the check engine light kept coming on. It didn't seem to have issues at lower speeds, so maybe it was just out of calibration after 21 years (don't you hate electronics in your As a result, the MAF readings look close to what I expected them to read, and the fuel trim values dropped to 0% (as they should), and everything appears to be working as it should.
I got another 2 years. There is a warranty on it, so I will let you know if I need to exercise it My purpose in providing this feedback is for those who may be hesitant about purchasing this part, it saved me quite a bit of time.
For the first couple of days, it was great. Since it is hit or miss now, I plan to request a replacement and review again afterward.

Upon arrival, the item was still filthy and had rusty screws from the car it had previously been attached to. This listing says that it has been remanufactured but the pictures above show that it has been used. Remanufactured items should appear as in the picture, meaning that some form of remanufacturing was performed, including cleaning up the item, replacing worn parts, etc.
Buyer.
Purchase the original and save yourself the time and frustration of purchasing the non-factory part.
