My 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 was stuttering when you first started it up, and the check engine light would illuminate. P0172 bank1 and P0175 bank 2 were the error codes that I read with my scanner. This is a replacement MAF that I purchased. It was simple to put in place. It can be found near the air filter. Simply disconnect the wiring connector, remove two screws with a T15 torx driver, and it will slide out easily. It took 5 minutes to replace the item. The truck cranked up without hesitation after I replaced the old one.
After K, it was necessary to replace it. The MAF was damaged by the oil in the N air filter, which resulted in error codes. The most difficult part of the swap was locating the correct TORX size to remove the two screws. Then it was just a matter of plugging it in. Insertion can only be done in one direction with a full proof design. To have the ECU reinitialize with the new MAF sensor, make sure to disconnect and reconnect the battery.
My k was destroyed, so this was an excellent OEM replacement. a filter for the air I'm looking for a 2013 equinox with the 2. 4 eco.
Fixed the issue with my wife's GMC Acadia, which had a P0174 code, and now my wife can stop yelling at me because the remote start will work again (if you have a check engine light and are wondering why your factory remote start has stopped working, fix the code and it will work again)br>as a note there is an opening where the sensor part of this part is located, do not touch it with your bare hand because the oil from your skin will cause.
On slow acceleration (1200-2000 RPM), I had a minor misfire. 1500 revolutions per minute). It could be plugs, wires, transmission, bad gas, and so on, according to what I'd been told. The MAF sensor was then introduced to me. This sensor is extremely easy to replace. Two screws must be removed after unplugging the wiring harness. My truck now runs like new thanks to this new sensor and fifteen minutes of my time.
I had a K after 30 seconds of running with no error codes. The K threw the N air filter, which appeared to cause an oil substance to build up on the MAF. I took out the N filter and replaced it, as well as the MAF, and everything worked out fine.
My 2016 Silverado 5 is in the shop. 3l. My old MAF had corroded pins and was no longer functional. I was fortunate enough to have HPTuners disable the maf and run the truck in speed density mode, allowing me to keep driving until this one arrived.
Returning it is simple, but it's inconvenient.
