Can this be used with the included adapter or is it required that there be a special adapter?

There is no need for an additional adapter when using this lens on LBZ. Check the plug of your unit and compare it to the photos of this one before plugging it in. I had a problem and it was taken care of. For those who are wondering where to find the socket to change this sensor, there is no way to get to it with a wrench.

Does anyone else hear a buzzing humming noise when they rev the turbo? Was this the fix for ?

yes, but you have to make sure your turbo isn't clogged by carbon buildup. You can use stove cleaner to get rid of caustic carbon building up on your turbo

The P003A and P2563 codes which were intermittently coming up on my 2011 LML Duramax with 60,500 miles on the odometer have since been fixed. One can tell that the truck has more power at lower revs. A couple of things to note are a 1" sensor socket is needed to remove/replace a 2) Replace the sensor by removing both the negative battery cables. 2) after removing the sensor, turn on the ignition for several moments until the CEL light goes out, then start your Although some say you need to have your truck programmed by a dealer, I followed these steps and have had no problems with the ECM. As you drive the vehicle, it develops a new memory that will work with the new sensor. I am happy with my new sensor and I am also happy that I saved money!.

We installed this a couple months ago and we haven't had any more codes since then. Since my truck has low miles and has not been used very hard, I thought the instrumentation issue might be the cause. For the diagnostics alone, it would have cost hundreds to take it to the dealer. As far as the price is concerned, I thought it was worth a try. In all honesty, I did not think it would help me, but it did, I couldn't be more pleased.

In addition to the PO03A codes, I was getting the P2564 turbo boost malfunction codes, which meant that my turbo was not correctly adjusting the vanes and was therefore throwing codes and running poorly. It's fixed. The low power, the black smoke, and the high fuel consumption are gone now.

My computer was exhibiting p0046 and p2563 codes and was exhibiting quite slow acceleration and response times. Displayed on the EDGE CTS3 monitor was a rather bland black and white display I believe the vane position sensor is locked and/or inoperable because of its volatile nature. After a while, the vane position just stayed at 0%. In the aftermath of the installation of the new VPS, all issues have been resolved and the truck has been restored to its As soon as I replaced this component, I cleared the codes, cycled the ignition a few times, and let the truck idle for a few minutes, then I replaced this component again We calibrate our instruments. My rating is a good 40 for $40. As to how long it will last, we will have to see.

I just bought my second vane position sensor, and it worked perfectly. I can see vane percentage in my Edge CTS2 without any tuning, and that's because it was a pre-tuned sensor. It is an easy plug and play device! You should definitely try it if you are getting a P2564 error.

Eventually, I took it to a shop to have the turbo sensor calibrated so I could get rid of the trouble code. Even after the oven cleaner trick, the vanes weren't actuating to 100%, so the technician took out the oven cleaner and it now runs smoothly without any smoke or.

A chipped 06 2500HD duramax LLY (vin 2) was found in a shipping container. The P2563 check engine light indicates something is wrong with the engine. Using the ODB meter, I erased the code (I did that before 4X, but it always returned), removed the old sensor, and installed the new one.
