I had the oil pressure gauge on my 2006 Suburban read 80psi once I started My research indicates that this is the common cause of the error, and for me it was this part. You can help yourself by doing this. Take a look at this video to see what changes have been made. It is definitely not an easy thing to get to, even though it is not hard to change. You need to make sure you have the tools you need. It is necessary to use a set of deep well sockets (1 1/16" worked for me), as well as an extension of 4". It would have been much longer and might not have worked, so I used a universal joint to achieve a little bit more length and flexibility since the area was hard to access. I just happened to have 1/2" drive sockets, which worked fine for what I needed. My average time to complete the job was around half an hour. Now that the oil pressure gauge is working properly, it should stay that way. In the event I have to do this again in the future, I will buy this part again because I know it fits and it works.

Had to buy a special tool to take the gas line off, but this can be done without removing anything from the engine. This was a direct replacement save for the fact that the original had a rubber gasket where the plug goes in, which this did not have. Everything is better than nothing, so I switched it. It wasn't snug, but it was better than Getting lots of information over the internet, I hope the old sensor was leaking oil and it looked like more of a major problem than it actually Now, I have to clean up the rest of the engine from the mess and determine whether the leak has been fixed.

As a result of my broken oil pressure gauge, I purchased this part. I got my gauge to work, but after it 'warms up' the gauge showed So, I replaced the oil pump with a melling high volume pump as it appeared to be weak. As it did not change anything at idle, I had to contact Their customer service was excellent, and they sent me a replacement right away. This is not working for me, even though I had it installed. These sensors seem to be malfunctioning, so I assume an issue exists.

After a long time, I finally went ahead and added it. It took a while, but I finally received the socket and replaced it. I am very pleased with how it has worked 29 August 2020.

Those numbers are 3, 6, and 7. If you enter 0 or 6, you will receive a response. Newer GM trucks with an engine displacement of 2L or less. It's a little up and down as far as consistant readings, but it still works and I've got rid of my check oil light and super annoying chime. I like that this is such a good price and it ships fast. It's a little bit off but it I've tested it on a 2006 Cadillac Escalade and it worked.

This was very good value. It was not an easy job, but it was completed. It will be recommended that if you do not have oil pressure readings to replace it to clear code and fix the issue.

The sensor for my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer L S V6 is the wrong one. The function could not be performed. As a result, I missed the return window since I was out of town for a funeral.
