The part fits a 2009 chevrolet silverado 1500 5 . What is 3L? Even though Amazon says it won't, do you think they are kidding?

I don't know if it will fit, it looks like the fuel tank pressure sensor. However, if you get that far and the pump has a lot of miles on it, you might as well replace the entire pump.

The other transmission on a 2007 Chevrolet Impala 3 will have to be changed. ?

I'm not sure what you mean by your question. As part of the fuel pump assembly, this part is mounted on top of the fuel tank. Transmission in your car has nothing to do with this. What kind of transmission are you looking for? Do you need a part for the fuel system?

Located on top of the fuel pump assembly, it will be mounted to the top of the engine.

The item fits 06 Chevy Silverado 5 trucks. How many 4x4's does it take?

Installation takes no more than 10 minutes
5/5

Take a look. One of the rare times in which a car repair goes smoothly without incident. The instructions online were helpful as well, as I was prepared. You do not need to drop or lift the fuel tank or truck bed, at least not for mid-2000's pickups, such as my Below is a diagram of how this part is installed. If you lay on the ground, you can reach above the gas tank. Above the tank is enough room for the job to be done by haptic feedback. br>Feel around and find the part and wires that it is connected to. Lift the locking tab on the electrical connector, then pull it off to disconnect it from the electrical source. You can just bend up the plastic to release the lock and it comes free. There is no slider lock or anything complicated.
Tilt the sensor body SLIGHTLY to break the seal. Rotate the sensor body around and tap it. You can use a small pry tool to pry out the sensor from the hole by pressing it straight up. In the confined space, it might be difficult to tilt enough for one to attain sufficient vertical travel with a screwdriver, but I had a mini nail puller that worked in that area. Alternatively, you could rotate a flat tip in a circular motion. If you don't have this tool, bend the end of a 4 inch piece of metal to make a pry tool.
There is a chance that the sensor tip will break Make sure that the force is straight up when you pry around the tip area. Make sure that you don't tilt the sensor up by the long free end or pull it up by hand. If necessary, pry it into a few spots. You'll notice that it pops out once it emerges from the hole then the whole thing is free. Choosing the right solution is important in the event the tip breaks and stays in the hole. If you push it into the tank, it will float forever. The construction screws will help you get it out. The screw should be threaded in by hand as much as possible, and a needle-nose pliers should be used to lever it The reason I didn't break it was that I put my pry tool against the tip before pushing, so the force is mainly straight. Put the new one in the hole by simply pushing it in. With a not too obvious feel, it snaps into place. My first attempt was to push down directly ABOVE the tip as hard as I could, thinking that it must have been all the way into the pen.
Please reconnect the connector gently after each use. By feel, it took a moment to line up, but once it was done, it worked fine. Clear the check engine light, and you are ready to go!.

The 2001 Silverado 5 clears the P0446 code, works
5/5

It worked great, and it was easy to install since the bed had to be lifted. On my 2001 Silverado, I was able to remove my P0446 code ( Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit). *If blowing out the vent valve filter does not work, then this is probably the next step for you (or perhaps even your first step I found the vent valve canister to be extremely difficult I found lifting the bed to be fairly easy. A code is generated if this part (fuel tank pressure sensor) fails high or low, but if the sensor gets stuck in the middle, the computer won't be able to detect a failure, and you will not get a code telling you there is a problem. In fact, your EVA has stopped working as it should and you receive a P0446 error Watching a few videos on lifting the bed I decided that it would only require 6 bolts, a torque screw, the tailgate, and a bit of Due to a jammed rubber grommet on an old sensor, I had to drive a screw into it and pull it out by hand, by hand. I used it for several months and it worked great.

The installation process is simple
5/5

After a lot of frustration trying to replace the "easy" parts, such as purge and vent valves, I found this to solve my 98 GMC K1500 with EVAP code P0446. It was a real blessing to have read the earlier review about how you could install this easily on a pickup, and I would encourage you to read it as well. Neither the bed nor the tank had to be raised or dropped. My pickup was able to be raised up on jacks, and I was able to reach around the top of the tank from the right side to find When I disconnected the connector, I wiggled the sensor a bit in order to loosen it. After that, I inserted a large flat blade screwdriver under the connector and worked with it gently until it reached the tip without breaking As soon as the screwdriver was applied as a lever, the screw popped out of the socket. I lubricated this new connector and it pressed back in easily with a firm press from my hand. The connector clipped back on easily after plugging it back in. Approximately 30 minutes were needed for the process. It’s happened a couple of times now, and I drove the truck for about 50 miles over a couple days with the Service Engine light on. Using a scanner, I was able to manually clear the codes and the EVAP monitor was ready after a short drive. Following the inspection, I was able to get it through. This is a good starting point if you have a GMC pickup and want to fix the P0446 error. The part I recommended is excellent.

This is a real piece of work
5/5

Parts were not in an ACDelco box they came in GM boxes. It only had a white sticker with the part# and Singapore on it, which looked nothing like the sticker on the OEM part I removed, as other reviewers have mentioned in their reviews that they received a counterfeit. ACDelco Brand Protection Department which investigates fake parts contacted me. After a few emails back and forth and some pictures of the part, they assured me it was a genuine part. I installed the part which fixed the problem and I have not experienced any related problems since then. You don't need to worry about a fake GM box, as long as the package comes with its white sticker. It's always a good idea to contact ACDelco if you are still unsure. It would be appreciated if you could spare the.

The part in question was not ACDelco original
3/5

The part did not come from ACDelco. It came from another general manufacturer and the shocking thing was that the part came in an ACDelco The box didn't have any protection, and the product was just dropped inside. I was therefore not happy with the outcome. Nonetheless, I gave it 3 stars since it cleared my code on the 06 Chevy Cobalt. Now, all I have to wait is for how long it will last.

I KNOCKED OFF
3/5

DOES NOT APPLY TO I strongly advise you not to buy this product. The product was not what it was advertised to be. The item came in a Delco box with a sticker indicating that it was made in Singapore, both on the box and the by that since I removed the gas tank after dropping the tank, and then noticed "these parts are not the same as the original". While I had no other choice but to install the knockoff at that point, I have no confidence whatsoever in it or its In the case of A 16. 00 bill would have been just as nice, I could have paid that easily. For a knockoff, you will have to pay $900. This seller is not reliable. DO NOT buy from him.
