I was very pleased with the results. I have a 2014 Harley Sportster. It is extremely simple and straight forward. It came without the bungs when I bought it for a cheap price. I have a single and a double A muffler was not installed when the vehicle was opened. By adding torque cones, I was able to keep the bottom end torque at a reasonable level. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. There were no issues. I added locktite to make sure they wouldn't Perhaps you will need to turn your oxygen sensors around a bit to attach them. Having to line up the screws to screw them on can be a bit frustrating. They were attached to the exhaust when I installed them. Do your best to be patient and persistent There is no regret in doing As well as using them on carbed sportsters, I also use them on older models. I hope you have a good time!.
This fits on a full-system exhaust I ordered however, the hole for my oxygen sensor is 18mm instead of 12mm, so this adapter added that extra point of adjustment for me. Because of this, I didn't want to use muffler weld because it's permanent and I can't take it out of the car to change the o2 sensor if needed. So 10 bucks were well spent. The product I received was of a very high quality and arrived very quickly.
The item I purchased has a 1/4" threaded fitting on the end which I believe can be adapted to my 1/4" threaded fitting. In turn, however, it turns out that this item might be metric instead of SAE
In this case, I will have to keep searching for a fitting that will work. If you are ordering this item, be sure the measurement information and thread information are available.
The 240SX I have has an aftermarket exhaust with a larger 02 bung size and it worked fine.
If you lose one packet, then you'll have to dig all day in couch cushions and tool boxes to find it.
Earlier this year, I changed out the factory exhaust on my 2015 1200 Sportster Super Low with Screamin Eagle free flow parts. My 02 sensors fit nicely into the aftermarket pipes with the help of these adapters.
The o2 sensor piece was a perfect match for the exhaust and has solved all my problems. I installed it on a 2011 GSR 1000 exhaust pipe. The 02 sensor hole was bigger than the o2 sensor and this piece proved to be just the right size to fit. My exhaust shops had to plug the pipe and weld a new bung to the pipe, so I was able to save on that expense.
Because the 09 bike does not have a cat, I swapped the headlight from the 07 bike onto the 09 bike. The 02 sensor is different from the 01 sensor. In addition, they worked well with the older header in order to incorporate the newer sensor.
