The transaction went well, and the pump arrived quickly and in good condition. The seller was great, but I'm disappointed in Vixens' product and customer service. I bought it on July 1, 2018, and it died today (it sounds like a nut came loose and is bouncing around inside). I understand the warranty is only good for a year, but I was hoping Vixen would provide more assistance than simply replying with the option to purchase a new one. This pump was barely used and was mounted in the cab, so it appears to be brand new. It should, in my opinion, last a lot longer under the conditions and with the minimal use I give it.

The box in which the item was shipped was excellent; however, the inside of the box had significant damage, including rusted and damaged pump, broken connection hose, and broken filter. After speaking with Amazon, a partial refund was granted. I was under the impression that shipping back would be on my dime, so I'll use what I have to rebuild my old pump. I'm not sure if I went with the used option, but even if I did, $132 for an almost useless pump isn't worth it. The used section usually has a damaged box or something missing, not a used damaged pump.

Now, it appears that this pump blew a gasket or something because there is oil all over the area where the pump is mounted on this particular order. I've only used it a few times for my rear air bags and a few of the air horns that came with the kit, so it's essentially unused. I'm curious if I'm the only one who has had problems with this pump.

While the other compressor I purchased was being shipped in for warranty, I decided to purchase this one as a replacement. This is turning into a real ruckus. After three months, the first compressor failed to reach 200 psi and had to be replaced under warranty. My second compressor is getting louder and louder, and it sounds like it's about to blow up. It's probably a good thing I have two to rotate in and out of. To make things easier, everything will need to have quick connects.

Because there aren't many options in this price range, I went with this product. br>After the first pump failed after only a year, I replaced it for the second time; we'll see how it goes; I'm hoping it will last longer this time. br>I wish it could build up air faster, but it does the job. br>I use it for the following purposes on my Ford F150 pickup truck.

The fuse that comes with it is about the size of a quarter. 16 gauge. Because the motor is at least 12 gauge, I used a 30 amp breaker instead of a fuse with thin wires. *Thicker wires can be used, but smaller gauge wires should never be used.

We're awaiting the arrival of a few key components. I am confident that the final product will meet my expectations. I had to re-arrange my furniture due to the lack of space. It is situated in a rural area. As a result, more connecting parts and hareware were required. "I'm getting there," as they say. br>When the task is completed, I will update you.

It recovers quickly; I installed a 120 on 150 off switch, and it does so much faster than my other standard duty switches. On my pickup, I have air bags for the helpers, an air horn, and a 5 gallon holding tank. Filling tires, using a blow gun, and, of course, using an air horn are all things I've done in the past. When used frequently for these purposes, I would recommend a holding tank, but overall, this is a good compressor with low to moderate noise and excellent recovery.
