Questions & Answers
This product should work fine as long as the vehicle has a 12 volt battery and the horn ring operates a horn relay; you may need to improvise a mounting location, but using some hardware brackets or modifying the originals should be simple.
Hello there, client. br>Each car horn is powered by a 6 amp, 12 volt battery. Thank you very much, br>
I made use of both.
These horns can be used to supplement or replace the horns you already have. They include a mounting bracket as well as a short wire. Read the instructions for a quick and easy installation.

I considered installing a horn on the back of my car because there have been times when I wanted to honk at a driver behind me but couldn't because the driver in front of me would assume I was honking at them when I wasn't. br>I used a 12 volt power supply to test this horn, and it is quite loud. I tucked it behind my rear bumper, hidden from view. I'll honk with an extra button on my dashboard and power the horn with a fuse tap. I'll post an update once I've completed the installation and verified that everything is working properly. br>br>UPDATE: I'm done! It's an excellent solution. I like how the high and low pitches are balanced. As you can see in the photo, I put a button on my dashboard, and the horn is completely hidden because it's tucked under the bumper. My Accord now has a tailgaters' secret weapon!.
I put these to the test as soon as I got them, and they're fantastic. It's not an issue. They make a lot of noise. Has a high and low tone to help you hear them more clearly.
Replacement horns at a great price! I was planning on only installing the lower frequency of the two horns, but there was a convenient spot right next to the original horn that allowed for mounting! The wires that come with the kit have already been pre-cut. The horns are sufficiently loud despite being stripped for ease of installation. Tone is far superior to the stock horn and far superior to the generic disc horns. br>br>The only thing to keep in mind is that the wires provided are quite short, so you may need extra wiring if you want to install two horns when your vehicle only came with one. br>br>Apart from that, you can't go wrong with a double horn set. It is strongly suggested. As shown in their product photo, my horn went from a "bi bi bi" to a "BA BA BA"!.
It's a lot louder than stock, which is perfect for my car. The mounting bars are not keyed to the horn body, which is a good thing because it allows the horn outlet to be mounted in a straight down position. (To prevent water from accumulating within the horn cavity, which will almost certainly cause the horn to fail. ) ) And the price is unbeatable; it arrived brand new, quickly, and with a nice personal note from the seller. In addition, a one-time A one-year warranty is included, though hopefully you won't need it! This purchase and this seller have both exceeded my expectations. Take a chance!.
My OEM horns had worn out after 20 years of service. I decided to replace both of them because one was dying. I soldered the wires from the new horns to the OEM adapters I removed from the OEM horns, allowing me to simply plug it into the vehicle. Please look at the photos. br>br>Installing new horns in factory locations is a piece of cake. There were no complaints about the volume of the music. It was a reasonable price. If any issues arise in the coming year, I will update this review.
Update 8/11/21br>I got the replacement horns today, and the "high tone" horn isn't working again! Amazon did an excellent job, but the manufacturer appears to be unconcerned about quality assurance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCTbr>br>I purchased these to install on my 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. For added security, I wanted to use a dual tone. I'm glad I put them through their paces on a 12V power supply before mounting them. The High Tone horn didn't work right out of the box. The low tone was perfect for the job and was nice and loud. Prior to being boxed and shipped, there appears to be a lack of quality control. Hopefully, this has nothing to do with the horns' long-term viability. I contacted Amazon and asked for a replacement, which is currently being delivered. I'll update my review once the new set has been tested.
The horns were installed in a 2020 Subaru Ascent by me. Forester. It took most of the day to finish the Forester. The climb takes about 2 hours. If you had easy access to the horns, the claim of a 10-minute installation would be true. You don't have to in new cars. Both could be accessed from the top and did not necessitate the removal of the front bumper. Wires were provided, but they were ineffective. They're way too short; I needed much longer wires to find a suitable ground. There are no instructions other than those found on the website, and it makes no difference which terminal is used or not. The mounting stud, on the other hand, is not a ground. One terminal served as a grounding point for the other. They aren't much louder than the factory horns. They do, however, sound more authentic than the toy horns found in Subarus, and they are an improvement. They fit in both cars, but I had to bend the brackets on two of them slightly to make room for other items in the area.
Installing and wiring these is a breeze. On my UTV, I installed these. I didn't want the small scooter horns that come with the street legal kits. br>Many thanks, br>JTbr>.
