It is the wire that is Your job is to cut it to the right length and install it Connect the wire to the line. The wire is a smaller gauge that will burn apart if too heavily loaded. The way it works is like that.

I used mine for the battery cable that runs to the alternator as my alternator overcharged and blew the previous inline fuse wire. I am happy with this product since I have not experienced any problems The new one has been in place for about 6 months.
