I am not sure if they are counterfeit or not. Closed bottoms are indicated by a "C" whereas open bottoms are indicated by an "O". It appears that Bussmann isn't paying attention to what they are doing when packaging their fuses if these are actually Bussmann fuses. These are ATO fuses packaged inside a packaging which clearly labels them as ATC fuses, as you can see in my photos. This makes a big difference, because ATC fuses have a completely sealed bottom and are therefore less likely to corrode.
It is not always a good idea to use Bussmann fuses because they act quickly. These fuses go with my portable air compressor, and whenever I fill 4 tires I will often blow 2 of them. When a small load is applied to the circuit, such as a compressor turning on, the fuse will blow.
An ATC fuse with an exposed element has been received. They are even labeled as ATC fuses on their packaging! Besides being too cheap to bother sending back, it is not suitable for my application. It is not a happy day!.
Unless they are doing something sketchy or illegal, it is horrible. I am giving the images one star for now, since they are misleading. When I use my air compressor that hooks up to my cigarette lighter for more than a few times, I will update this post.
It looks like they are cheap. The picture on the listing should match the product, otherwise I do not like the way the product shows up.
This item was a part of a repair for my Audi, which has full-sized We have included the original size so we can verify them with Wikipedia and few other websites. It was as tight as my original ones, almost as snug as they didn't come. I cannot testify to the thickness of the prongs, but they fit nicely. For the work they do, this is a very good price. While the prongs had a slight discoloration, it did not affect the function of the device. As soon as I test them, I will let you know, my cigarette lighter was shorted because I dropped a drill bit in it, not because it had malfunctioned.
During my research about fuses, I came up with the following conclusions. The price of branded fuses seems to be much higher than that of On YouTube I came across a video where a guy (apparently unaffiliated with any fuse company) tested various branded fuses and unbranded fuses. It turned out that there was little difference between the unbranded 20amp fuses tested and those in the specifications. Fuse specs were close on branded fuses, although more expensive ones were not. Taking this into account, as the purpose of a fuse is to protect your equipment, it makes sense to spend a bit more on a quality one.
I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this fuze. They were also quite affordable. My hopes were high that I had chosen the right one, and I was right. In the other options, there were so many options I only required This way, I have the one I needed along with a few extras in case the one goes out next time. My sincere thanks go out to.
