The clock on my desk stopped working years ago, so I cannot tell you anything about it
This is a good size for height and width. It does not stay lit, that is the only complaint I have. A person can't see the time at night unless they get up and tap the center of the clock to see the time lit. To me, this is a problem. intend to return this clock in search of a clock whose light stays on while the clock is dark/dark.
The measurement came out to 3 inches. The sum of five by one is five. A 5 inch spacer

I can see the time with just a glance without having to take my eyes off the road or make a specific effort to look at As my car clock no longer works, changing it would require me to take off the dashboard. Because I didn't want to go through that trouble, I purchased this clock and placed it over the non-working clock. Clock that is functional. There is no evidence of the clock underneath, so it looks like it was made for that spot. There are probably those who complain that it is thicker than many auto clocks, but they should understand that it can also be used as a travel clock, and it has a fold-out design as well. A stand can be mounted on a table with the back facing out. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts, but for an inexpensive clock, I'm very happy with it.
Also, this model is supposed to have a back light display, but it does not work with the one I received. I would say that the bottom line is that if you are looking for a digital clock for your car, please do yourself a favor and don't buy this piece.
That worked just fine. I only had the time on it, I never used the date. Velcro was attached to the back of the sheet, and it was stuck to the shelf above my desk with Velcro. I recently had to replace my off-size batteries because mine died, and I purchased the size that was recommended It came with a brand of batteries. Despite the grayed out right side of the vertical line of the second digit, the clock continues to tick. It is too irritating for me to get used to, even though I assumed I would eventually adapt. The new clock I bought was a big relief to me. As far as today's throw is concerned, it seems- In the faraway world, expensive items do not need to be recharged when the batteries are not necessary.
Although I do like how it looks and the size, there have been several instances where it has gone crazy on me, blinking and also going out a lot. It was acted up a handful of times, but after I played with it and reset it, it is still going strong after a few weeks. I first assumed it was the batteries, but after messing with it and resetting it, I discovered it wasn't the batteries. I've got good news I have not had any problems since a few weeks ago. It's a good deal, so it's worth getting.
There are large numbers that are easy to read without glasses, which I appreciate. It would be great if the backlight was constantly on. This watch appears to keep good time, but the backlight will not come on when I press it. I am not going to send it back, but it's annoying when you pay an extra cost for a feature and later discover it isn't available.

I received a bad batch of batteries yesterday (September 13), so I replaced them with spares that fit. Yesterday, the clock was blank and unresponsive. The new batteries were inserted, and it was exactly the same as before Nothing is displayed on the screen. It is too late for Amazon to accept a return. In the event that it had worked for a longer period of time, I would have given it five stars.
