The chances of it happening are good. In my case, I have an RT 2005 that There's no change in the power sockets, as far as I can tell.
As mentioned above, the power draw on this unit would be so tiny, you wouldn't notice it when compared to other items like alarm systems that constantly draw power. Two, most outlets where you'd plug it in are not powered when the key is off, so it can't draw power regardless of when the key is turned on.
Do you think it will fit into the BMW 1200 GSA socket? You can find the socket just to the right and below the TFT screen. It's hard for me to be 100% sure what your exact setup is. Having used it, I was pleased with the results. Water is present in the plug but it is not waterproof.

During the first season, there were two modes of failure. 2) Stopped charging when it's raining. It should be noted that my bike has a very 2) A short drive of about 800 miles caused it to literally fall apart with about 3K miles on it. Take off running. Depending on your skill level, you may expect more than a few months of riding regardless of how cheap it is. In the end, I ended up buying a different, more expensive model with a USB port on the side rather than on top like the previous model. As of now, all seems well.
The quality of the software has been criticized in some reviews. with this product has been that it is a reliable and solid piece of gear for my The charger on my phone and my spare rechargeable bluetooth headset are both being charged at the same time. It's an interesting addition to have a volt meter. Though I have no way of knowing whether or not the voltage reflects the actual value in real time, I enjoy seeing the reading. The blue light is also very easy to see and very attractive. It is a little bright at night, but I have grown accustomed to it after a few days. I have used the device without any complaints for at least 4 or 5 thousand miles on the bike.
Display on LEDs is great. On long road trips, I have found that this works really well on my BMER K1600GT. Even when there is no or little cell service, I can continue to keep my phone charged. As a result, my iPhone battery won't be drained by searching for a signal, and I won't have to switch to airplane mode to conserve battery life. It also has a blue LED display, which I love. It's a great bike, and I'd jump at the chance to buy another.
I recommend it for anyone who wants a sturdy electronics device that works well. My only wish is that it was a little shorter so that it would not stand out so.
My BMW K1600GTL is equipped with this. There are two USB outlets available, and there is a voltmeter which gives me some extra security.
Dead on arrival. There are random fluctuations of voltage from zero to twelve. The results were never accurate or consistent. I wasn't able to charge my phone because it wouldn't do anything. I isolated this problem to a problem with the plug when I used a digital test meter. The paperweight is now in place.
It works perfectly with my 2018 BMW R1200GS. It is very easy to install and it In the 9 months that I have been using it (on and off road), there have been no issues. The voltage level on the readout matches what the motorcycle is reporting on its dashboard and the USB ports are working fine. This is an excellent book!.
With two ports, you know exactly what it's doing, and it is easy to use.
