There is a 009 dizzy in this

My 1967 Type 3 came with a 1600 engine and dual carburetors, so I purchased this kit. As I am not familiar with the old VW stuff, I assumed that a classic tune up kit would be universally applicable. While the dizzy in the Type 3 has a vacuum advance, no such feature exists in the 009. My application required a smaller rotor than I would have received in the kit, and the cap was too large for my needs. There was also a problem with the condenser it was attached to a vacuum advance unit with a wire too short. The kit was excellent, and all of the parts were OEM Bosch and of very high The kit would work better and more historically accurate for 1600s To sum it up, find out what type of distributor you have if it is a 009.
