Performs this task for a Nissan Altima ?

I am glad to hear from you. According to the Fel Pro website, the ES72481 Spark Plug Tube set will fit a Nissan Altima with a 3.0L engine. Engines with 5L engines MUST have removable PCV valve baffles on the valve cover. It will be necessary to go to Nissan to obtain these seals if your valve covers do not feature removable baffles.

It would not be worth my time to waste it. The valve cover should be purchased separately for the same price as The seals on my old ones were damaged when I attempted to remove them. If you are having trouble with the cover, you may need to have it repaired. (I tried to fix a cover from a 2004 FX35 with 250k miles so maybe this is not the best example.) It wasn't until I purchased new that I was able to stop being frustrated.

I modified the valve cover to fit my Maxima, and it is an excellent product. To bore a hole around the old rubber piece, I used a 2 inch hole saw on a drill and did as described in the Astral video on YouTube. The 3/4 hole was too small, resulting in the aluminum plate on the valve cover being damaged. Then I used 2" and got an even better result. I sanded the area and wiped it down with brake cleaner after hosing it down. RTV Right stuff grey was applied afterwards and the tubes were pressed in place. My current experience has been wonderful - no leaks, complete fit, nothing but happy with the result.

The valve cover cannot be cut to make it fit

Seals on the spark plug tubes are still fine, but the old seals must be removed with a hole saw to prevent the spark plug tubes from leaking. I mean it. Trying to remove the valve covers, I broke one badly. After removing the covers, I learned that they are cast into the valve covers. It is Nissan's design that the valve covers should be replaced as a unit when the spark plug tube seals fail. Thanks to the valve covers being so cheap for both OEM and aftermarket, both OEM and aftermarket can buy them. Honestly, it's not worth the trouble and effort to replace the tube seals if you need to replace valve cover gaskets on a Nissan VQ engine. Just buy the valve cover and gasket set as a kit instead.

A FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! The item will not fit the G35/350Z

Do not buy! They are not compatible with the G35/350Z VQ35DE, as they are both different in size and There is absolutely no way that they could fit! On the right, you can see the original seal, On the left of the pic below, you can see a Pro ES 72841.

We went from $14 to $520 on the wrong fit! I was guaranteed a good fit, but I did not get one! I do not use my car for income, but I need to replace the plug seal when replacing valve cover gaskets and seals

This does not fit! GOOGLE YOUR CAR TO SEE IF IT IS READY! However, despite the fact that the gasket appears to be good quality, it does not fit my car (2004 Nissan 350z) as it claims

would not advise you to purchase the item, however you should double check (research) whether or not the gaskets on your car can be replaced. You must buy a brand new valve cover for the 350z DE engines! There is no way to replace these gaskets! Hopefully, this will save you time and money, but it is an expensive fix.

From what I have found out, valve covers cannot be ordered separately from seals. Throughout Nissan's entire truck and SUV line starting in 2003, this rule applies. $175 was the price I paid for valve covers for my vehicle. In the same way that Nissan and Ford do not release all of their data, both companies have comparable difficulties. The Nissan vehicle line may be good, but the data issue with the company stinks.

There is currently a functional)valve cover that came on most '05-'06 cars The Toyota Tacoma was replaced by the Nissan Pathfinder in 2009. If you require a new valve cover (about 45 dollars) that comes with spark plug gaskets already attached, as well as a new valve cover base gasket, you may purchase that.
