In short, yes. Front axles for the HPD30 and D30 would fit in these sockets
The wheels were originally made for Dana 30s in 1996, but there was a major design change after 1998, so I'm not sure if they will fit.
In fact, those are the exact dimensions they were designed for. There is no way to operate these seals with CV axles.
These are not installed inside the axle shafts, but rather outside to keep debris, dirt, etc., from entering. They replace the factory plastic end caps on the ends of the axles. A number closer to 16534 would be more appropriate. I am 23 years old. Up until 2006, most Dana 30s were equipped with this transmission. Make sure your order is compatible before you place it

These were installed on my 98 XJ Dana 30 HP ABS is a very common type of brake, and a previous review indicated that these would not work with ABS because they would Though I am not certain about his setup, mine came together perfectly with no rubbing or interference problems at all. I think this is a good product. Only downside I see is that if the inner axle seals are leaking you won't see that, and the only way to check is to pull the In the case of tires that are old and have been driven a lot, it may be a good idea to replace the inner seals while installing Considering the cost of inner seals is only a few dollars, it's an inexpensive In order to grease the fitting as efficiently as possible, you should face the grease zerk towards the rear of the vehicle, this way if you are plowing through mud, dirt won't be forced into the fitting as you grease it each time before In this way, the seal stays intact.
I am delighted with all the parts, except F. It was stated that these would not fit on a 2000 Cherokee XJ. The other parts that I ordered from Amazon are working great except for the tube seals in my axle housing, which I have out to replace. My first task was to paint and detail the housing and make sure the surface was ready so that the paint would not come off. In short, the tube seal on my axle made it impossible for it to go all the way in because it protruded about an inch too far out. There were tubes inside that I had to cut and chizzel out! They were thrown out in the garbage. The axles on my car are stock. It is the buyer's responsibility to be careful.
This dust cap outperforms the factory dust cap ten times over. The only thing you need to check is to ensure you have a 1 piece axle on the passenger side. XJ's 1991 and earlier have a 2 piece axle on the passenger side. Pick up a 1 piece axle at the "pick a part" store. Take a ride in that bleepin Jeep. You can contact Matt by doing a search on "com" and he will guide.
These seals on the outside are great. I enjoy the way they look and how well they keep dirt and water out of the axle tubes. This is a super-easy to install system all you need will be a tube of RTV.
There is no other way to describe these bad boys. This was an easy installation while I was assembling I will no longer have to worry about dirt and water getting inside my axel tubes, and my inner ones will last a lot The grease can be easily reapplied. The price is more than worth it. A heavy-duty job. It doesn't seem like I will need to replace it in the near future. To help seal it even more, I used RTV.
It was very easy to install. Approximately 50 miles after it was first installed, the outer seal cracked I do not know what took place. As for the inner seal, it seems to be in good shape, so I'll keep going. I like the way they look. I just didn't want to have to do the same things over and over again.
I love these because they fit well and work well. Please be aware ABS models are not compatible with these. It has a bigger knuckle than the axle housing, which prevents it from being fitted. Keeping this in mind when using spare axle shafts from the junkyard is advisable.
Good quality, well made and fit perfectly. I have 3000 miles on them and there have been no problems so far. I plan on buying them again for my Jeep.
