Questions & Answers
Depending on how the description is phrased, it is a solid core wire or single conductor. I'm very happy with it. It seems to be fairly good wire.
Totally agree with "Bad Wolf" you can, however speaker wire has two conductors and if you wire all the wire together this would be overkill. Purchase speakers that are of the correct gauge if you want to solve your problem. In addition, when you connect speakers, you need to ensure that the polarity is correct.
It powered a fuel pump that I used to fuel my vehicle. If you are going to use the gauge for a particular purpose, make sure the gauge is the right one. The led strip can be used if it is wired according to the recommendations.
We'll be able to do that.

It was clearly marked 16 AWG on the spool (not a shipping error), but when I unwrapped it, it was clearly 18 AWG wire. This wire was stamped 18 AWG, but not 16 A few inches at a time. Make sure that you take a second look before wiring a load that is designed for 16 AWG wire, and then change the 18 AWG wire after the fire. *Having said that, let me point out The wire looks nice and thick at 18 AWG.
The wire is not 16 gauge, it's much thinner than the 16 gauge I already have, and it will still work for my application, but it's an annoying lie. Message

Update As well, I did not receive 25 feet of wire. I received more like 18-30 feet rather than 25 feet Approximately 20 feet. The wire I purchased from this company has a very poor quality, and I will not buy wire from it.
16 AWG IS NOT a good choice! It is not true that the wire is 16 awg copper wire. There is probably an 18 awg in it. Low voltage work with small loads can be achieved using this. In this case, it does not meet UL standards for a 16awg lamp. You will be able to use the wire for other purposes, but if you're looking for an accurate representation of our product, I cannot provide it. It appears that the measurement of over all diameter is taken by the manufacturer of external insulation and not the internal copper. Make sure you get a sample and read the reviews before buying. In view of what it represents, it is not recommended.
Well, the best we can say is yes indeed, its wire. If there's anything that does qualify for that old saying "you get what you pay for," this is it. Upon opening the box, these two tiny, pathetic little thimbles of, wink, wink, wire fell out, and all I could do It was obvious to anyone who talked about this's quality that he had been paid to do so. As soon as I put it in the garbage can, it went into the trash. The joke is on us. Maybe I should have known better, I'm guessing I have to go to HomeDepot for some "real" wire. My fault. That would probably be good for a tiny little project, but this will not be helpful with wiring up my off-road.
I am very pleased with how thick and durable the insulation feels. While I use it for low voltage power delivery (12V, *15A, with two wires in parallel), I am confident that it is safe to use for mains wiring. Consult your ampacity charts if you haven't already! It is copper wire that is used for this project. Even if it is plated aluminum, I don't think it is. You can use it for multiple purposes From what I can tell, it is solid copper stranded together. Ask a question on this item if you want to know how many strands there are, and I will respond as soon as possible.
A remote kill switch was wired into the boat I had since I was in Simple to make solder & easy to use The connections are made at the butts and run through protective sheaths. In spite of the durable construction, it is still flexible enough to make a good connection to the tiller handle of the outboard motor. I appreciate it.
As I ordered 16 gauge wire, I got 18 gauge wire which will not handle sufficient current for my use. Returns will not be accepted. There have been multiple complaints about the same problem, but it has not been fixed.
From looking at the outside diameter of this wire, it seems to be the same thickness as other wires that are 16 gauge. I compared it to other 16 gauge wires I have, and However, the reason for this is that the plastic insulation is thicker than usual. This is because the insulation is thicker, so the copper wire strands are just a little thin than you would expect for a genuine.
