You can indeed leave the car in race mode all the time, but it makes the throttle much more sensitive. I prefer sport mode for most of my driving on a daily basis. In the race mode, I try to be spirited when the situation calls for it.

This is for the R59 Mini Roadster (not the Considering my Mini Roadster is my daily driver, I want to get a good fuel economy as well as enjoy the driving experience

I got so annoyed with the initial lag, especially when I traveled on freeways or passed through tunnels. Now that I have Sprint Booster installed, I don't have that issue. Additionally, it's wonderful to have the power available so quickly. As soon as I turned it on, the dreaded check engine light appeared. It turned out that I had tightened connections that were actually loose! This is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.

What's your reason for wanting to blow the engine? There is a problem with the wire harness they use

I messed up my car a lot. The fault had been in the harness and the check engine light came on. I was able to restart my car after disconnecting the cable. Do not waste your time and Your engine could be damaged. Or your transmission could be stressed.
