Questions & Answers

I'm not sure what the grease packet is for. ?

It's a type of dielectric grease. Put your rubber boots on top of it, and you're ready to go. rings. Corrosion and oil are prevented from entering the spark plug tube.

What is your policy on returns for this item?

Not sure

I purchased these coils 6 months ago and am still having misfire issues with new spark plugs; is there a warranty on the coils I purchased?

This item has not caused me any problems. If the problem existed prior to the installation of the new ignition coils, I would suspect a different problem. If you look at your Amazon order history, I believe you'll find a link to the coils' supplier, and I'm sure they'll be able to assist you - If you've had the coils for less than a year, they're probably fine. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is it compatible with an episode 3 from the year 2002?

Not sure

So far, everything has gone well
5/5

I'll keep this review up to date as long as I own my 2004 Civic (which, God help me, may be replaced with a newer vehicle soon). ) ). br>br>My Civic br>br>My Civic br>br>My Civic br> When hot under load, 7's two inner cylinders leak positive pressure into the coolant jacket due to a dreaded head gasket issue. The telltale is a slight oiliness when popping the rad cap, as well as a buildup of extra coolant in the overflow tank (listen for gurgling air in the heater core on hi-res). heat). It's been five years since I bought this car, and it hasn't gotten any *worse*. However, as you might expect, extra drops of coolant in the chamber when stuck in traffic or climbing steep grades haven't been kind to the plugs - as well as the coils, by extension br>br>Because my poor car had the grace to give me a nice firm warning rather than leaving me stranded, I went straight to Amazon as soon as I felt the misfire; this car has OEM Denso plugs with a five-year swap interval. and I was unmistakably present (those - M11 plugs cost $30 each at the dealer, but only $15 here. ) The center electrodes on the plugs did have some wear, but it was minor because they were the heavy OEMs. but coil- Plug coils are a lot more difficult to work with than pony coils. Your grandfather's Barracuda had can coils. When compared to OEM (which costs $60 EACH), I found these to be unnervingly cheap. However, because the ratings were favorable, the decision was made to proceed. br>br>As expected, yanking the 15-year-old from the game was a no-brainer. coils from the past and 5 Like a frog in a pot of water, I'd become numb to deterioration in the ignition parts, as evidenced by old plugs - Shifting issues at idle, power steering, brakes, and fuel economy, all thought to be separate issues, were all related to how well each cylinder pulled its weight. It had to be, because once these coils and new ones were in place - Denso L11 plugs were installed (which are identical to the Honda OEM plugs). M11, with the exception of a slightly thicker ground electrode - and four plugs for less than $8; All of those issues vanished when I switched to )). br>br>I've been dreading every stoplight for the past week, convinced that I'd been duped by Amazon junk sellers. However, these coils fit and functioned EXACTLY like the OEMs with no issues (at least so far). Here, it doesn't get cold). Even better, the vehicle hasn't performed this well in a long time - For years, I had to granny and turn off the A/C to get my maximum mpg (120 miles / half tank), but now it's a breeze - as well as a slew of other strong-willed individuals. passing and cruising at 60 mph are two examples of related aspects. When there's a *minor* misfire in not one, but two, intermittent cylinders. This generation Honda appears to be far more sensitive to it than my previous Toyotas. br>br>Welp, I'll keep you updated if there are any issues. I honestly believe the people who complained about it put these new coils on top of worn plugs and killed them the same way they would have killed an OEM coil - except that for the same price as one OEM coil, you can get four of these shipped. and use the change to get a footlong Subway Get eight coils if you're going to swap them out. At the same time, L11 Denso plugs (PKJ20CR- L11, $7. 49 (as of January 25th, 2019), with a 2-year swap;.

(Non OEM = more headaches) Temporary Fix When it comes to ignition parts, OEM is the way to go
3/5

They've been designed specifically for the ignition and tolerances of that particular engine. It's always a hit or miss when it comes to generic parts. They are occasionally made of high-quality materials, but the majority of the time they are not. These coils worked for about 6 months on my 2002 Honda Civic EX before misfires reappeared. Problem solved after I bit the bullet and bought the OEM Denso coils (which were still cheaper on Amazon than at the dealer or local auto parts store). The engine has more pickup and acceleration, and there are no stalls or misfires, indicating that the ignition is a critical component of the engine. Don't be stingy with your money.

It's time to put that misfire out of its misery! These could be easily replaced by a novice, saving you a lot of money
5/5

My 2002 Civic 1's coils and plugs cost me $57 to replace. It now has a 7L tank and is running smoothly once more. When you consider that a shop would charge $200 or more to do this simple job, it's hard to beat that. I had a problem removing one of the old coils, so it took me about thirty minutes. Otherwise, it would have taken half that time to complete the job, and I used a dab of dielectric grease on each plug just to be safe. I can't say for sure how long they'll last, but I expect them to last for the rest of the car's life (which is currently 222,000 miles). It is a good deal.

Fits my Honda Civic LX 1 from 2003 perfectly
5/5

My Honda Civic LX from 2003 is a one-of-a-kind vehicle. For a couple of months, 7L had been having trouble starting. It would begin when it felt like it. AutoZone, OReillys, and other retailers were contacted for pricing information. Advance Auto is a company that specializes in providing transportation services They're all priced between $50 and $100. 60 for the price of ONE! This was an outstanding offer. I got in the car around 7 a. m. this morning to pick up my boyfriend from work. It wouldn't start; usually, after a few tries, it will, but it didn't this time. I'm so happy the ignition coils arrived today for around 330p. I had no trouble replacing them, as well as the spark plugs. My car started right up after I installed it, which took about an hour. I took it for a spin. It drove like a dream! It purred like a cat when I let it run! Thank you, Amazon, for delivering my package the next day! Dielectric grease was also included.

It gets the job done! These guys were ordered to replace my 2002 Civic
5/5

My car was misfiring, stuttering, and making strange noises, so I ordered these, installed them, and now my car purrs like a kitten once more. It's a fantastic deal that works perfectly. Before ordering, I had my car plugged into a code reader, which returned cyl 2 as the code. 3 misfires, and you should do the same to ensure that you are not purchasing unnecessary items. br>It was exactly what I had hoped for.

MISS FIRING AGAIN 4 WEEKS LATER WITH NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND NO PHONE NUMBER WASTE OF MONEY
3/5

I SUPPOSE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, AND THESE ARE GARBAGE. FOR ABOUT 3-MINUTES, IT WORKED PERFECTLY. THEN ROUGH IDLE AGAIN FOR 4 WEEKS. CHECKED THE DENZO SPARK PLUGS AND FOUND THEM TO BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. HOOKED IT UP TO A COMPUTER AND CYLINDERS 1- 3 WERE MISS FIRING FOR THE SECOND TIME. THIRTY-DAY RETURN IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS WITH NO SUPPORT FROM THE SELLER. IT SAYS TO CALL FOR WARRANTY INFORMATION, BUT THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL, SO I GUESS YOU'RE OUT OF MONEY. CHOOSE A BOSCH OR DENZO FROM YOUR LOCAL AUTO STORE, WHERE YOU CAN WALK IN AND HAVE A PROBLEM LIKE THIS FIXED.

They fit perfectly in my 2004 Civic EX
5/5

I'll provide a long-term update. I bought these for my 04 Civic highway work car, which had a random P0302 OBD2 code every "now and then. " It's too early to say if this was the cause, but my car is running better now that these coil packs are installed. They may not be Denso OEM, but for the price, quality, and fitment, they were an easy choice for me. br>I'll keep this updated as time goes on.

QUALITY AND SERVICE AT THE TOP OF THE LINE! While researching the cost of four ignition coils for my 2004 Honda, I was surprised to learn that Oreillys charges $160 for Honda ignition coils
5/5

00+ tax! After doing some research on Amazon, as suggested by my son, I was even more surprised, but this time HAPPY, because the total cost was only $45. For the same four coils, you'll have to pay 00 tax! They are of good quality and very simple to install, in my opinion! I was extremely pleased with the service I received. Thank you for the cost savings, superior quality, and outstanding customer service!.
