Questions & Answers

Is it true that they are manufactured in the United States of America?

That doesn't make sense to me. Guess what happened after I bought a motorcraft blender door motor? China is the source of this product. I do know that I replaced all ten coils in my RV and have had no problems thus far. I also had no problems replacing 8 on my Ford 150 and 6 on my Ford Edge. I'm pretty confident in my ability to use these coils.

How do I know if I have the bent one selected if there are no options for bent or straight?

These are the ones that have been bent.

Will they fit and function properly on a 1999 Ford F350 V10 Triton 4x4?

These coils should fit both the 1999 and 2002 v-twins, according to the part numbers listed with them. I paid ten dollars for them. They're a great item.

Will these fit my 2000 bounder with a V10 Ford engine? the $45. Is the price of 99 for the entire ten-piece set?

They worked on my coachman triton v10 from 1999.

On the plug, there are some fantastic coils
5/5

Fantastic Coils on the Plug! These DO NOT FIT MY 2000 FORD F-150, according to Amazon. 250 6. THESE DG508 COILS WITH CURVED BOOTS ARE THE CORRECT COILS FOR THE 8L V10. These went in without a hitch! You'll be good to go with just a dab of dielectric grease. Keep your receipt because these are covered by a lifetime warranty. They were a fantastic deal at ten for the price of one Motorcraft COP. Please don't give me a thumbs down; if I were wealthy, or even moderately wealthy, I would buy everything Motorcraft has to offer. Unfortunately, I am on a fixed income and must save every penny. Thank you for taking the time to read my review; hopefully, I was able to assist at least one person. Good luck with your truck, and remember that if you don't know how to fix something, go to YouTube and watch as many videos as you can on the subject. Thank you for your time. EDIT: br>br> br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>my check engine light came on, and When I took it to my neighborhood mechanic, he told me that I had two bad coils. I took them down and got in touch with the seller. They responded the next day with a message requesting that I send the coils. I sent them out on Monday, and my replacements arrived on Saturday. Thank you so much; I'll be buying all of my coils from you in the future. MH.

With 20,000 miles under my belt, I'm still going strong
5/5

With the Ford 6, I have a 2001 Fleetwood pace arrow motor home. 8L V10. I bought these coil packs after two of my original Motorcraft coil packs failed. These coil packs are a perfect fit for my engine, and it ran flawlessly after they were installed. I've driven these coil packs for about 1700 miles and haven't had any misfires or computer codes. br>br>In the next month, I'll put about 5000 miles on the motor home in preparation for my summer vacation. After my trip, I'll let you know how these coil packs are doing. I have a few spare coil packs in case one of these fails. br>br>It is critical to replace the spark plugs at the same time as the coil packs. The spark plugs are susceptible to corrosion due to their location on the top of the engine. Moisture and corrosion in three of the ten spark plug wells caused the original motocraft coil packs to fail, according to my theory. My motorhome has about 75,000 miles on it, and the original coil pack rubber seals had deteriorated due to heat, allowing moisture to enter the spark plug well. One of my spark plug wells was filled with actual standing water. Before removing existing spark plugs, blow out any debris from the spark plug well and soak it in WD40 for several hours. Ford V10 engines are notorious for having corroded threads and issues removing spark plugs. The heads on Ford V10 engines are made of aluminum, and Ford only taps 5 to 6 threads into the aluminum to hold the spark plug. If you have excessive corrosion or overtighten a spark plug during installation, the threads in the engine head will almost certainly be destroyed, and you will need to tap out the aluminum head with a kit purchased from a local auto parts store and install a new sleeve. You should be satisfied with the outcome if you follow these instructions and take your time. br>br>UPDATE: I've now driven 15,000 miles without a misfire on these coil packs, including trips to Traverse City, Marquette, Hancock, Carbondale, Sandusky, Iowa City, Wausau, Louisville, Elizabeth Town, and back. I'll keep everyone updated because I intend to put another 5,000 miles on the old bus in the coming months. For $45, this is a fantastic deal. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've put 20,000 miles on these coil packs and have yet to have a single failure. This time, I used my engine code reader to ensure the engine was in good working order. There were no errors or codes found. I got my money's worth if I fail now. After I add another 5K to the engine, I'll write another update.

So far, they've performed admirably, especially considering they're a fraction of the price of OEM replacements
5/5

After about 100 miles, three of the coils have already failed, resulting in fault codes. They were fine up until that point; I bought them to see if the expensive OEM coils were going bad, and it did provide an answer to that question. I had hoped to get a year or two out of them, but that was not to be. ***Update*** ***Update*** ***Update*** ***Update*** ***Update*** ***Update*** 17br>It turns out that, for the first time in my life, I purchased three defective (cracked) motorcraft spark plugs, which I replaced before installing the new coils. I've put about 600 miles on these coils so far, and the engine runs perfectly. I'll update this again if they stop working in less than a year. I'll consider myself ahead of the game if they last longer than a year. ***Update*** 12 br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> 17br>These have been working for nearly a year.

Will fit the curved boot style of the 1999 Ford F350 V10
4/5

Plug grease is included in the package. Because of the price, I was a little hesitant about the quality of these when I ordered them. br>br>These arrived quickly and included dielectric grease. These are the curved boot style, which fit my 1999 Ford F350 with the Triton V10 6. 8L. Everything went smoothly during the installation process. The only issue I have with them is that on a few of them, the notch where the wire harnesses latch was too smooth, and the harnesses would not "click" into place. I could detach them from the coil pack with enough force. However, I do not anticipate this being an issue because the factory harness's rubber boot fits snugly enough that it should not vibrate away. br>br>I bought these to try to fix a misfire (it turned out one of my injectors had a broken wire). br>br>I hauled about 10000 pounds on a 300-mile round trip without a misfire, so the plugs were able to withstand the constant heat (ambient temperature was around 85 degrees F). )br>br>I still travel with my old packs because I've had other cheap brands fail prematurely, but these have performed admirably so far. br>br>If I have any problems in the future, I will edit this post.

Vibrations in my Ford F53 V10 Motorhome are no longer an issue! These were purchased for my Ford V10 motorhome
5/5

These will fix a miss that (vibrates) when under a light load. Everything except a Coil Over was the source of my concern. When you check your coils for resistance, you'll see that they're fine; the problem occurs when the coils are loaded. I took a risk and wore all ten. The issue has been resolved!.
