Ah, yes, it is an interesting question, I am not sure of the level of lethality from chipmunks, but I am sure, our wire protector is excellent and will protect your wires very
As you will see in the description, Product Dimensions 7, we have included that. Thank you for your support. Three times seven is three times three. Three times seven is three times three. I am two inches tall
I will not be able to wear them over my MSD Wire ends with a diameter of 5mm. The boots on the distributor end of the blade were removed and sleeves were put on then the boots were reapplied. It really helps to spray some silicone spray.
As far as I can tell, it does not make a huge My reasoning was that I would place the sewed end away from the spark plug, where it would be away from the actual heat source.

These were purchased as a solution to a burning spark plug wire problem. As described, they arrived when they said they would. A previous review stated that this product featured expandable rings that allow them to be placed over assembled 90 degree boot soles. I as a result chose this product over some of the others offered on here. It is verified that he or she did not make a mistake. Despite being a SBC customer, I found these easy to install on my account, so I'll be recommending them to my friends.
Remove the rings and use pliers to stretch so that the straps can slide over boot tops with 90-degree angles. Secure the boots with the rings once they are in place. The quality of the product is good. When you have headers on a V8 you must have them.
The first pair of FAST 180-degrees I bought was I had to use deg wires, and these did not fit. This is especially true when that stupid metal ring is In recent years, Taylor 135- has been gaining popularity I was able to use these deg wires without any problems! I hate to says this, but the engine still isn't even in the car. Whether they melt on my manifolds or not, I will update this post.
Thus far, everything seems to be going well. It is not a solid ring, so you can stretch it to fit the application (use needle nose pliers if the ring is too small). As used on a CTS As far as I can tell, I am happy with V. We will have to wait and see.
LS1/LS3 plug wires are not compatible because the non-standard plug wires An end with a metal ring on it couldn't be fitted over the coil side of the wires at the sewn end. It was easy to cut the wire with a wire cutter and pull the cables After using these boots for a few months, they may look a little worn, but they still function. In addition, they are 1/4 the price of LSX specific heat boots. On the cheap, this method works for me. A good way to protect.
) is perfect for this cable. Wires for the 1L 496) plug. The Vortec 8100 496 has been fitted with this heat shield to replace the factory metal heat shields. Despite the factory heat shields working, I was afraid I would burn the plug wire when I removed the heat shields from the exhaust manifold. It was very easy to attach these plug cable wire heat shields to the existing metal heat shields and springs, and they even wrapped around the angled plug boot with no problem. You should keep in mind that the end that is over the plug SHOULD NOT be the end it is sewn to. Over the sewn end of the plug/boot should be the end with the ring, opposite to the sewn end. The fit seems to be great and the quality appears to be very good A well-made product for an extremely affordable price. It is worth the peace of mind it provides. I've only tested them for a few miles so far without a problem, but I'll update the review if they do not perform as expected under extreme towing or load. The metal heat shields on the factory GM exhaust system should ensure that exhaust heat isn't an issue.
It will be an investment for all 4 of my cars to use these spark plug heat boot protectors. Originally, I purchased it for my 89 Mustang GT due to all the foxbody Mustangs that create so much heat that damages all the wires and electrical components. On the other hand, I used them on my newly rebuilt 1991 4Runner v6 engine, whose spark plug wire design is close to the manifolds which caused the boots on the original spark plug wires to melt, as well as some of the wiring It is difficult to slip into the boots through the boot hole entries due to the thick metal wire. In order to lubricate each spark plug wire & the whole boot on each spark plug wire I used silicone grease that I also found here on Amazon. In addition to lubricating the inner boot entryway, I cleaned the boot cover. I did this, it was still a little difficult to slip the boot heat protector on to each heat-resistant spark plug wire boot. I admit it's a little pricey but if you had an experience of burning and experiencing heat damage, then it's worth it! You could spend hours chasing your own tail if you melt the rubber insulation on a spark plug boot or on the wires in your car to find out what is wrong. Additionally, on foggy and rainy days, or when the weather is hot, water can seep into the top of each boot or the wire itself, leaving you stranded on your car.
I don't know how to install it. Despite spending some time trying to shove the wire and boot through the sleeve, I wasn't able to do it. My way of installing the sleeves was by removing the spark plug wire boot. It was a snap. In an attempt to slide the spark plug boot over the sleeve, I threaded the white thread through the white stitching on the spark plug end.
