It was good to find a product that was right for my application this time around. As far as the product is concerned, I don't like this it was open, as in not sealed. It makes me wonder if it was inserted in the open position and if the contents are consistent with the manufacturer's intent.
I guess the time of installation will tell me since this is only Possibly, at the bottom, the bottom is damaged as a result of abuse in shipping and Across the street.
I wish I had bought one on my previous purchase. It's easy to replace the original wires if you have them on your engine one by one. It would have been convenient to do that on my last plug wire exchange, I had to just logically match the wire size from coil to plug distance since the after market wiring I had worked. According to some wire ratings and plug booth numbers, which wire goes where may have something to do with the ratings or plug booth numbers, but I was not able to find any information on the web. It is the other cylinders that share the same length wires that pose a problem, I have a F150 v6 1999 that doesn't have any issues matching cylinder 1,3 and 6. In any case, everything seems to be working just fine despite having to randomly place the same length wire on cylinders 2, 4, and 5.
I had to reroute a few wires on my vehicle, but it worked just fine. The pros are In fact, there is just one. Dielectric grease has already been applied to the ignition coil side of the plug. The cons are was used on the spark plug side of the set. The set is not the same as the original set, which had three pairs of wires of varying lengths. Three of the shorts, one of the longs, and two of the mids were included in this set A wire of a certain size and length.
The Autolite wire set I had was only two years old, and I had a bad misfire. By fixing these problems, the problem was fixed. Very snug fit for the coil pack connections and very good connection to the plug boots. I had no problems fitting the wire holders since all the lengths were correct.
OEM wires at a good price with quick shipping.
I like it.
The product fitted well on my 2000 Ford F150, but was not identical to the OEM part.
